What you see is not a test (though I am not rapping to the beat).
Spoiler for I am dead serious about these extracted images being spoilers, so... y'know:
My initial impressions are positive, though I have some questions about the format of everything. Very interested to see how it all plays out. As far as liking the ending or not, I certainly expected it, but liking it will depend on... well, a lot of things. Even if you spoiled yourself, give it a chance. You don't know what's in the rest of ep8 to help you make your peace with it, after all. And there's a lot of misinterpretation and general outflowing of internet rage. Give it some time.

I remember EP 1 had Battler crying for them, but Shannon also died then, so...

My questions stands for those who have actually played the game.

ok, what i meant:
i thought Battler didn't care about him enough to kill someone for him.
and honestly i think he would cry even if his parents didn't die there, it was quite a shock.

That reminds me, how many endings do we have? There's the Bad Magic end, Bad Trick end, and I'm guessing good versions of the above? Is that it? Not that I'm complaining...

We dont know if the magic end is bad or not, sure feels bad for some reason. Trick end is definitely bad. I still dont know what would trigger the alternate endings though, some said they've finished and gotten all the puzzles right and the magic end is still the same. Dont know if choosing trick under those parameters would work. Dont know if there is an alternate magic end and what would cause it either.

There's very few choices that actually influence anything apparently, unless there is a trick inside the riddle portion with the answers like a possible answer not listed in the book like in EP6.

I thought if you failed the puzzles you get bad ends... Or are those just for show?

/jp/ claims the puzzles are only for unlocking stuff in the music box. so there's actually only a trick/magic choice.

i can't swallow the whole idea of unlocking music box in the first place, after all you can just listen to the music from the game folder.

So you have to earn your songs? Wat. That makes the puzzles pointless. Unless unlocking the music box does more than unlocking music...

Sigh. Are those Prof. Layton puzzles still around? I might just start believing it myself.

Remember the last sentences of anti-mystery vs anti-fantasy thats the hint.

e- haha the quizzes are true for those that doubt, check the code script I link.
e-2 Wait something is wrong here, looking at the code it looks like there are only 17 quizzes but the game is capable of rendering up to 30 coins. Either they planed more quizzes and cut them or they just did 30 as a safe number knowing they wouldn't get that high.

There aren't that many new BGM's from what I've heard. So it's probably not that big of a deal.

Well unless you make a deal about wanting a lot of BGM's of course.

Maybe I should stop reading this thread. It just makes me depressed. I'll see if I can't find any Ougon Musou Kyoku streams going.

e- @Judoh, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_v4lNf4_fo - pretty sure this is new, give it a listen

So... 幾子 = 19子, or do you think it's a mere coincidence?

I'd like it if it turned out that Yasu survived.

From the looks of it, Battler, Ange, and Eva survive. And Yasu would of lived if she didn't jump.

Out of 17 (probably 16) people, only 2 survive. That depresses me...

So is the culprit the same for all of the games? And I thought it was said in red that Battler was innocent and stuff in Chiru somewhere?

We were told Battler didn't kill anyone. That much remains true.

Battler-kun is not the culprit.Battler-kun didn't kill anyone. so technically it doesn't mean he's not an acomplice.
doesn't change the fact that acomplice Battler is something i won't believe untill i read it with my own eyes.
