I apologize in advance if there is already a thread for this! I looked and didn't see one.

So what are your favorite anime openings and endings from the 2011/2012 seasons?
Mine is the Inu x Boku SS opening, Nirvana by Mucc more specifically, all the way. I love the beat and it always gets stuck in my head. (In a good way!)

nisimonogatari OP platinum disco and chihayafuru ED soshite ima I guess
not only the song were great but the lyrics also very good.

YEAH PLATINUM DISCO! I liked Nisemono's ED too, more for the arrangement itself than the lyrics lol. And Chihayafuru's OP.
And since 2011's included, C^3's 2nd OP Shirushi. Oriental + EG is awesome.

Opening:

Ano Natsu de Matteru- sign- I think it fits the series well, plus there's a bit of a nostalgia element for me since it is stylistically similar to the OP themes for Onegai Teacher and Twins (I've Sound was involved with all of them).

Ending:

Kill Me Baby "Futari no Kimochi no Honto no Himitsu" - the song is very catchy. However, the main reason I love it is because of the dance, which is actually in the original manga, but it's much more amusing when it's animated and accompanied by the song.

To be honest I found many of the OP/ED of last season did not catch my interest much at all. There were a few that were just "good" for me, and they included:

OP: Rinne no Lagrange, Amagami SS+

ED: Natsumi Yuuchinjou Shi (prolly my fave piece of the season), Papa no Iu Koto (Horie Yui fan here - so mayhap somewhat biased), Mouretsu Space Pirates, Ano Natsu

1. Serment - Kawada Mami, Shakugan no Shana III/Final OP 2
2. Futakotome -Saitou Chiwa, Nisemonogatari OP 1
3. Happy Girl - Kitamura Eri, Papa no Iukoto wo Kikinasai! OP

ED:
1. Lost Child - Momoiro Clover Z, Mouretsu Pirates ED 1
2. Lovely Girls Anthem - Asou Natsuko, Tantei Opera Milky Holmes II ED
3. One - Altima, Shakugan no Shana III/Final ED 2

As usually I liked way too many songs, so I'll stop at 3 of each
