It should be noted that was over a week after NT22R had came out, where GT1 sales are only counting the first 3 days.

At the moment its hard to say if there is a huge drop or not.

Then will wait 4 more days to see for better comparison.

Out of Top 50 with 73k. Based on the previous volume, it should break 100k, but no visible 3rd week data, sincs Kimetsu occupies a lot of spots.

is astral buddy and accel story really axed? it looks to me that it has good sales but I'm not familiar on how many one needs to be sold, in manga, to be considered good.

Volume 3 of Astral Buddy didn't have a visible rank in Top 50. Based on the release date and the last two #50 holders, in 10 days it's definitely under 27k, and that's the best case scenario. Same with Volume 2. Volume 1 had a measely 16.7k in a full week. Railgun Volume 13 had the same release date as Astral Buddy Volume 1, and Railgun dropped out from the Top 50 with 122k, and started with 94k in a full week.

No visible rank for Volume 11 of Accelerator. Same for Volume 10. Volume 9 had 12.4k in 4 days. Didn't rank next week, so best case scenario again, 27k. Volume 8 had almost a full week out, 6 days, and still didn't rank, so it couldn't break past 17k, the #50 holder. These are all the Nectar arc volumes so far. Volume 7, last volume of the Necromancer arc didn't rank.

Don't know if they are really axed, but the numbers are trash and/or non-existent compared to Railgun.

Truth to be told, the Index manga version also has non-existent sales, but that is more or less a prestige thing to conclude at this point, at least OT.

This isn't WSJ where series are cut short due to poor reception or sales.

Accelerator (despite being the amongst the worst of the Toaru Series) still managed to finish its arc properly. There just wasn't any interesting story to tell with him because Accelerator is only interesting as a character when he is undergoing his series-spanning character arc.

Astral Buddy also ended but only after it properly finished its titular arc as well. We'll probably see another full-fledged spinoff with Hokaze as the MC later on. She's a fun character. AB is actually more successful compared to Accelerator due to the volumes getting new printings recently.

I was told that it needed 100K sales for Denkai Bunko magazine company to keep living & since it had 15K sales, it was gonna die, but glad it finish the arc then being cancel.

HOPE to see more Junko and gunha in the future

Totally agreed. Also, people should really check out the newest railgun chapter. It sure is ... something.

Again, this isn't WSJ.

And I was ultimately proven right about Astral Buddy with Nogi and the Railgun editor confirming that Astral Buddy was planned to be 4 volumes from the beginning.

And there are hopes (from the editor) that Nogi will come back for a new spinoff sometime in the future (if not necessarily with Junko as MC).
