Ed is way more interesting, especially when someone says that he's short.
Then he flies off the handle, it's rather quite amusing. Also, Ed seems to be more willing to break rules than Al. Ed is also, one of the only ones who can do alchemy without a circle. Except for his teacher and Wrath. |

They're both interesting on their own.I choose Ed, but not cause he's "more interesting".I think that Al is a unique individual, but I like him IN RELATION to his brother.I like Al, I like thinking Al...he's got much to think about...I like loving Al, understanding Al and...I' like to see a bit more of jealous Al, seeing as he's a teenager and always shadowed by his brother.
His genius brother.his loud, bad-mouthed, bad-tempered and just plain special brother. It's difficult to have a perfect, interesting, special(and specially-treated)brother, more entertaining, powerful, charming and brash than you.Everyone looks to him, IT'S ALWAYS ABOUT ED. That's why I like the both of them so much, but Ed more, cause he's the boy I'd want to meet and fight with if I could choose between them. Two things I like the most: he's strong(strong-minded, strong-willed and strong-hearted)and he's passionate. |

I like Ed more than Al, I guess. I find Al's politeness and kindness too annoying sometimes, although he can be quite cute. I like Ed more because he protests about his lack of height in such a interesting and entertaining way. And he's just so funny and rude and... Ed. That's all I can say, really.

Can you agree with me?
Ed is really not surprising as "the mainest" character. Almost everything he does, he does as expected from a main good guy. I think, Al turns to be annoying in Shambala from the same reason... So, in the FMA series - Al is better. In the Shambala - Ed rules. |

I haven't voted yet, but currently I'm leaning more towards Al only because he displays an aura of calm and is the more restrained of the two. Of course, Ed's whimsical nature does make him much more entertaining to watch. He is a magnet that draws in all sorts of excitement.

I voted for Ed
Ed is HILARIOUS, a very good older brother, responsible and realistic. Al is cute, sweet, innocent and slightly immature. To get something powerful and dangerous aka philospher stone and not wanting anyone to get hurt is just naive. It's something like hoping for no casualties in a war when a war is not without casualties. but i totally understand Al being the softie while Ed is the rough and tough guy. They complement each other which makes them equally lovable. p.s Al's human face is better looking and cuter than Ed.. I guess that's the reason he was turned into a tinman so that he wouldn't steal the show from Ed. =p |
