Having had Figma Hayate delivered to my work address, I left her on my desk. Oddly enough, nobody has really asked about the anime figures I have on my desk.
The wings on Hayate's back make the whole back mount quite loose and unstable. I think I'll need to jam some blu-tack into the hole in her back to get it to stay in place. Also, the hands don't fit her staff all that well. Once I've finished moving house, I'll be taking Figma Nanoha and Fate to work to finish off the trio LOL |

The bangs on the Figma figures are held by a peg-type piece. I heard they fixed the Nanoha problem in later releases though I'm not sure on that. The Fate and Hayate ones had no problems with the bangs.
The issue I was referring to is the waist of the figure. Fate basically separates at the waist (the two-sided ball joint piece stays with the top since its practically embedded into it). I've tried applying force to get the two sections back together (to the point of disassembling the top half to get a better grip and not break anything) but it just didn't seem to hold :/ |

I'm wondering, with the sad disappointment that the R1 A's DVD's did not come with the booklets, is it possible that someone could help me translate the lot of them? I can edit the scans, but since my Japanese reading skill is... non-existent, I'll need the help of a translator.

Signum rolled in last week, finally freed her from her box. Some photos of her, Vita, and my Fate+Nanoha. Man, my cell phone camera sucks for extreme closeups (you'd think that would be a given for a tiny camera).
Signum and Vita Fate and Nanoha This concludes my acquisition of the Nanoha series, those being my favorite "deadly duos" ... would love to have the others, but budget is what it is. They're going to need their own freaking shelf Signum is marvelous -- curvy German lass with some meat on her. She really stands out amongst the waifs. Vita is deadly batshit insane... cute. Love the details. Fate is still flashy with her rising fountain perch, cape, and sword but a bit bland next to the Knights; while Nanoha looks a bit peaked next to the others, just the bad luck of being first out on the market. Can't help it I guess, the metal armor features of the Knights just catch the eye....

CM's Corporation is also releasing a Fate Shin-Sonic Form.
http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10084079 o_O Too bad I already ordered the one from Volks. Too hard to make out whether the CM's Coporation one is good or not, it's all in black and white, and blurred >< More pictures of her here: http://wcloudxkumo.wordpress.com/200...vation-starts/ Pretty expensive. Now it's a question of which Fate-chan everyone will want. Will it be Alter, Volks, or this one? |
