-Araragi starts off the story by saying that he believe that his past selves are all completely different people. With that being said, he still would have saved a vampire, get attacked by a cat and catching Senjougahara
-He goes on to say that the following story is about Shinobu from 400 years ago
-He ends the introduction by saying he’ll go on telling the story while thinking of her
-Before the beginning of the actual story, Araragi gives us a “the story so far”, he and his partner Shinobu just successfully came back from another timeline
-For more details please read “Kabukimonogatari”, but truthfully he doesn’t really want people to read about his failures
-Right now he is walking home with Hachikuji
-The date is August 21st Monday 1pm.
-It was just yesterday that Hachikuji came to his home to play and left her backpack there
-The story happened in the Anime Guidebook so it’s supposed to be an omake that takes place in a parallel world
-Araragi tells her that without her backpack her character seems to have gotten weaker
-She agrees and says that without it rather than being a snail she’s become more like a slug
-She talks about how snails are more popular among kids
-Araragi disagrees and says that snails have a lot of parasites
-She says Araragi is her parasite
-The parasite’s name is Leucochloridium
-Hachikuji is impressed by how he is able to fit in the word “loli” in such a word
-Before they knew it they have already reached his home
-He invites her inside but she refuses saying she still has enough awareness to not enter his home when everyone else is gone
-He questions about what a ten year old saying and she retorts by saying she would be twenty one if she was still alive
-He tells her to not say something so depressing and she retorts by saying don’t feel depressed about her actual age
-They go on to talk about the Tokyo’s Youth Ordinance Bill
-Araragi goes to his room to fetch her bag
-When he gets outside Hachikuji suspects him of messing with the bag
-He tells her to read Kabukimonogatari in order to prove his innocence
-She says the book is too expensive
-They go on to talk about the publishing industry
-He asks her if there is anything she wants to eat and she answers by saying there is a lot of things she wants to eat but none that involves eating with him
-He feels that she is really cold to him
-He notes that this is the first time he and her talked this much since Nisemonogatari
-She tells him it’s because Hanekawa, Kanbaru and Sengoku stole the spotlight the last couple of times
-They continue to talk for a bit but then suddenly they saw something
-This something was pure darkness, just a piece of black
-This piece of Kurayami then started to change
-Araragi felt the danger it was giving and both Hachikuji and him got on his bike and they ran
-He kept riding at full speed and told her to look back to see if it was following them
-He tells her to hold on tight and she initially refuses but he convinces her otherwise
-He tells her to press her chest against his back, move her body up and down and kissing his back
-She is following all his orders unlike before where she would go against everything he says
-With a fifth grader holding on to him like this, he is able to convert his happiness into energy and he rode faster
-During this chase Hachikuji lost one of her ribbon on her head
-Her cloths is also ripped so from an outsider’s point of view it would seem like she was being kidnapped and violated
-They reached an intersection and the light is red
-There were no cars but he decides to turn because he doesn’t want to cross a red light while Hachikuji who died in a traffic accident was here
-After he turns he realizes Kurayami is in front of them
-Just as they are about to run into Kurayami he hears someone say “Unlimited RuleBook”
-They were knocked away from Kurayami
-His bike doesn’t get knocked away and is consumed by Kurayami
-Someone calls out to him and it turns out to be Ononoki Yotsugi
-He says thanks but she tells him it’s too early to say thanks
-She asks him what is that
-He tells her that her character should be the one that tells him
-She starts to regret saving him since it seems she is involved now
-She asks him whether he wants to fight it or escape
-He says he wants to escape and she then uses Unlimited RuleBook - Escape Version
-He starts talking about how since Ononoki was the one who destroyed the front door to his house he thought she was a violent type of shikigami but after thinking about it since Kagenui is definitely an offensive fighter, as her partner Ononoki shouldn’t be that violent, since it wouldn’t be very balanced
-She tells him his reasoning is not wrong
-The way they used to run away was simply jumping away
-She explained that since he proved that running away on a 2D basis isn’t effective, she thought that Kurayami might not be able to handle changes in height and it seems they had it right
-The place they ran away to was the old cram school ruin
-Hachikuji is unconscious
-He sets up a bed for her using desks and he used his shirt as a blanket and his jeans as a pillow, the only thing he is wearing right now is a pair of underwear
-Ononoki tells him his muscles look nice
-He tries to end this conversation but she tells him to do some poses as thanks for saving him
-They start talking about Kurayami and Araragi says that he has never faced a Kaii as abstract as Kurayami
-She tells him she can’t concentrate as she is too focused on his muscles
-She says Kagenui might know something but she can’t be contacted right now
-He asks what Kagenui is doing right now and Ononoki says she'll tell him in exchange for his muscles
-He asks what she meant by that and she tells him to cut a piece off for her to eat
-He says it doesn’t really matter whether or not they contact Kagenui since once night arrives Shinobu will wake up
-Ononoki is visibly disturbed when she hears Shinobu’s name
-Araragi explains that Shinobu should know something about it
-Ononoki starts to badmouth her and says even though her master is in danger she can still sleep
-Araragi doesn’t blame her since she just did several time leaps
-Ononoki says he shouldn’t be over-confident since there doesn’t exist someone who is knowledgeable about every Kaii
-She says that in the end one can only count on yourself
-She then stands up and tells him that she doesn’t have time to be here since she came to this town because of a job
-She starts to leave and Araragi tells her he’ll repay her in the future
-She tells him since she might disappear at any moment if he wants to repay her then it should be here and now
-He asks her what he could do here and now and she starts to ponder
-She goes up to him and steals a kiss from him on the lips while stepping on his shadow
-He gets really flustered and she calls him a cheater
-He realizes she didn’t say that against Senjougahara but rather Shinobu
-With that, Ononoki leaves
-With Ononoki gone Araragi realize that he is alone with an unconscious Hachikuji and he gets excited
-He starts to think about excuses to touch her
-Shinobu suddenly leaps out of his shadow and punches him
-She goes on to kick him and a part of him is getting a thrill from it
-She calls him an idiot and questions why she has to act as his conscience
-She asks him what happened and if he has anything to say to her
-Not knowing when she woke up he decides to test her out to see what she knows
-She instantly tells him that she saw the scene where he and Ononoki were kissing
-She was smiling but she was clearly pissed off
-He apologizes but she brushes it off
-She explains that it’s not like this was the first time he’s flirted with other girls
-He tells her that she’ll regret not being able to see his world’s most beautiful bow
-She replies that with him only wearing a pair of underwear no matter how beautiful his bow is, she wouldn’t be able to stand watching
-She also tells him she woke up the instant Ononoki kissed him since his pounding heartbeat woke her up
-She tells him that from her point of view Araragi just kidnapped Ononoki and Hachikuji but after Ononoki’s surprise kiss he let her run away
-The topic then changed to Totoro and the animated series
-Araragi then says anime and light novel is different and the series will end with Nisemonogatari
-Shinobu then questions him on how dare he talk to the female lead of the movie like that
-She gets excited about how the scene where she thrust her hand into her head would be handled
-She then announces that for the next 150 pages it’ll just be an ad for the Kizu movie
-In order to stop her from talking Araragi kisses her on the lips
-He tells her that something has happened and he needs her knowledge
-She agrees while blushing and fiddling with her hair
-He tells her everything about what happened after their trip in time
-She tells him his story made her remember a terrible memory
-She tells him she knows something
-She tells him she doesn’t know of a Kaii that is like what Araragi explained
-She explains that Kurayami isn’t a Kaii
-She had encountered Kurayami before and that memory is about it
-It was about 400 years ago that she encountered it
-It was the last time she visited Japan
-The same time when she created her first subordinate
-She begins to tell her story
-Before she starts she tells him to not be jealous
-She tells him she’s not kidding.
-A vampire like her who has a concept of virginity is very rare and usually creating a subordinate means creating a family
-Even though it was only a short time there is no way Araragi will feel good about her being in a master servant relationship with another person
-She tells him she was serious when she created the First
-In the end she tells him to be jealous properly
-In simpler terms it’s a story about her ex-boyfriend
-After that she begins her story
-Back then she didn’t even know about the existence of Japan
-She just wanted to take a sea bath when she jumped in but was surprised to hit land
-Before she came to Japan she was in the South Pole
-She wanted to see the Aurora
-Back then she was just a simple traveler
-However, it wasn’t a place that she should have went
-It’s because the South Pole doesn’t have any people
-Without humans, a Kaii’s existence can’t be established
-There is no point in showing your immortality to penguins since they won’t spread rumors of your existence
-She wouldn’t freeze to death but she would slowly lose her existence over there
-Realizing this she jumped away
-She was expecting to land in the ocean but hit land instead
-But in actuality she really did hit water since she landed in a lake
-The lake instantly disappeared
-She then starts talking about a village
-The lake that she landed in was just about to dry up
-There was a drought back then
-She didn’t really care for the people in that village but since Kaiis need humans to survive she saved them
-When she landed in the lake her body temperature was extremely high and she evaporated the water around her
-The splash created by her landing also created rain
-Creating rain was a deed of the highest class back then
-Because of this she was able to save a lot of people
-Had she landed anywhere else it would have been a disaster
-She doesn’t care for humans but she wouldn’t massacre them
-She became the saviour of all the surrounding villages
-She was witnessed creating this miracle and in turn was called a god
-He remembered that Shinobu said something about that already before during Spring Break
-The lake she landed in was considered to be holy and was being prayed upon
-To the village people it seemed like Shinobu was born from the lake
-She was only a god to them for about a year
-Shinobu saw it as an opportunity to have a vacation
-She told Araragi that during that time she never sucked any human’s blood
-She says that by the end of her story all of the appearing characters die
-During her stay she occasionally fulfilled the duties of a god and gathered rainclouds for the villagers
-She created a temple for herself in the dried up lake where she stayed
-Talking about that reminded her that Araragi was half naked so she created some clothes for him
-She allowed the villagers to do as they pleased except for one rule
-They were not allowed to give a name to her
-The reason for that is because once a name is given then the object would be bound to the land
-It’s just like how the name Oshino Shinobu is binding her right now
-The reason she left the South Pole was because she wanted people to witness her and have her existence restored
-However her restoration was slow
-They weren’t witnessing her as a vampire but as a god
-Once she realized that there weren’t any legends of vampire in this land she should have left
-That person told her that it was because she pretended to be a god that she was punished
-That person was the first subordinate
-He was a samurai but he lived in a period where it’s government system was the most peaceful in the world
-It was a period that needed warriors the least
-Even then he was a samurai nonetheless and what he was battling were Kaiis
-He wasn’t like Oshino or Kagenui who were more or less middlemen, he was closer to that of the vampire exorcists
-Kokorowatari was a sword passed down in the First’s family and was revered as a god sword and anyone who uses it is called a living god
-Shinobu doesn’t know the First’s name, she always called him the Kaii Killer
-Compared to Araragi, the First is no more than a passerby
-The First came to meet her back then and they indeed battled once but he didn’t come to kill her the first time they met
-When he first came he came with a whole group of followers
-When he came it finally brought some excitement to Shinobu’s carefree days
-She wasn’t talking about him or the group of people, but rather his swords
-He was carrying two swords with him, one long and one short
-The long sword was Kokorowatari
-Araragi have used clones of it before but the original was far more dangerous
-The clones needed to be downgraded because it would be too dangerous
-The second sword acted as a counter to the effects of the first
The short sword was called Yumewatari
-The sword had the ability to revive Kaiis
-Shinobu reacted to the swords and destroyed her temple
-The group the First was leading had around 50 people, they were all specialists too
-The act of destroying the temple made them believe she was a god even more
-They didn’t start a fight and asked her if she was really a god
-She told them to think for themselves and don’t give her a name
-By then she was more or less familiar with Japanese
-They were very professional and most likely they have dealt with other gods
-They wanted to create a system where humans don’t need to count on gods
-Those guys didn’t see gods as a higher beings but rather equal beings
-In conclusion those guys told Shinobu to “don’t take it too far”
-She didn’t like having a limit like that but she kept herself from beating them up
-Yumewatari can only revive Kaiis killed by Kokorowatari
-Shinobu doesn’t have it because she has no use for it as she sees Kaiis only as food
-Hearing about Yumewatari’s ability Araragi starts to question her whether she won or lost that fight with the First
-Shinobu kicks him and says that if the First was truly a genius that could kill her then she would have remembered his name
-That fight was just entertainment and wasn’t a battle till death
-The original Kokorowatari has already been destroyed
-Those people would visit occasionally and Shinobu even helped them hunt Kaiis a couple of times. This was what she meant when she said she could trust her back with the First
-She couldn’t eat those Kaiis in front of them
-She was a pretend god for about a year and she didn’t eat at all during that time
-But her hunger wasn’t the only problem
-She’s not allowed to stay in one place for a long time because she attracts negative energy and it’ll ruin the balance
-However, when she was there no negative energy came
-Seeing that no negative energy was gathering, she started to postpone her departure. With that in mind she stayed for a year
-Something then happened and villagers started to speak of rumors of people disappearing
-Shinobu thought the negative energy finally gathered but something was wrong
-There were no witnesses, people just disappeared
-She finally started to question why no negative energy came
-After thinking for a while she did nothing
-Days went by and finally all of the villagers disappeared
-Araragi tells her she’s bad at storytelling since the finer parts were awkward
-She says that the narrator with the best review surprisingly was Kanbaru
-Araragi tells her that’s because her story was more serious than anticipated
-Shinobu also mentions that the last book seems to be Hitagi narrating
-They start to talk about manga
-They then go back to the main topic and Araragi tells her that if Kurayami has no relation to whatever she has been talking about then he’ll rub her breast until they’re twice the size as a torture
-She then counter by saying breast rubbing is a sign of obedience
-He then says in that case he’ll rub Hachikuji’s breast until they’re twice the size if the story has no relations
-She noticed everyone have disappeared when no one came to pray to her
-She went to the village and no one was there
-She then went to neighbouring villages and they were empty too
-There was a border as to how far the disappearances went and only the villages Shinobu knew about disappeared
-After seeing no negative energy gathering rather than not feeling well about people disappearing, she felt not well about nothing appearing
-Because of that she went back home to sleep
-Not wanting to remember what happened she stuck her hand in her head and wrecked her brain cells so she’ll forget what happened recently
-After this the First came
-He came alone and he told her everything
-She then regained all her memories
-All of his followers disappeared too
-She went to visit the villages again but this time with the First
-They believed the crime was done by a human since Kaiis can’t perform a perfect crime where no witnesses appear
-After they checked the last village, Kurayami appeared
-Shinobu didn’t run and just looked at it in awe
-Both her and the First was then swallowed up
-3/4 of her was swallowed
-She used what was left of her to go back to the South Pole
-At the time she had only one leg left
-When she got there she expected Kurayami to follow but it didn’t
-That was the last time she came to Japan at least until when she met Araragi
-The First at that time was practically swallowed whole
-All that was left of him was his right hand
-In the instant he was swallowed he grabbed Shinobu’s hand as if to ask for help
-That one hand was carried to the South Pole with Shinobu
-Realizing everyone around her is gone it caused her to feel lonely
-Shinobu was too strong for her own good and she lost her animal instincts, however after the attack by Kurayami her instincts came back
-She then turned the First into a vampire using only his right hand
-With that, she have returned to being a vampire
-The First successfully revived and the transformation was more complete compared to Araragi
-The First however wasn’t as strong mentally as Araragi
-Compared to other vampires who killed themselves, he committed suicide within a few years of his transformation
-The time before he died Shinobu talked to him many times but their relationship was already in shambles so she didn’t stop him from killing himself
-He was angry at her for turning him into a vampire
-The first thing he said to her after turning was calling her a monster and accusing her of setting them up
-He blamed her for everything
-He never forgave her and despite her telling him her name the only time he used Kissshot to call her was the moment before he committed suicide
-The only thing he left behind was the clone of Kokorowatari that he made with his bones
-That marks the end of Shinobu’s tale
-She went to Europe after that and the negative energy started to gather again as usual
-Now that Kurayami is back she starts to feel sorry because she believes she got Araragi involved and Hachikuji as well
-They began to talk about what they should do next and Shinobu believes that they should act first before Kurayami swallows the whole town
-Shinobu suggest that they should wait until Hachikuji wakes up, tell her everything and then go separate ways so she wouldn’t be involved anymore
-They then hear a noise
-It was Ononoki who is standing in front of the doorway
-She disagrees and tells Araragi to not believe her
-It seems she never left and just stood in the hallway to listen to Shinobu’s story
-She and Shinobu starts to argue and Araragi realizes that the reason Ononoki kissed him was because she wanted to lure Shinobu out
-Araragi gets depressed that Ononoki didn’t actually fall in love with him
-Shinobu attacks Ononoki and has her hands held behind her back
-She tells Araragi to go for it and Araragi tells her to not assume he’ll be an accomplice
-She then tell him he’s free to do anything with Ononoki’s breast and Araragi says it’s no good unless it’s one on one
-He starts to get excited over the fact that there are three little girls in the same room as him
-Because there is a common enemy between them the two girls seems to be starting to get along
-Shinobu then asks him who among the three does he like the most
-Ononoki wants to know too
-He replies that as his partner Shinobu would be his favourite
-Shinobu says that the answer she wants to hear isn’t one that involves her being his partner
-Shinobu then changes the question and asks who among her, Hitagi and Hanekawa does he like best
-He tries to change the topic but Ononoki won’t let him
-Hachikuji then wakes up
-He charges straight for her and tries to molest her
-All three girls bite him
-Hachihuji thanks him for not abandoning her when Kurayami came
-Ononoki tells Araragi that after hearing Shinobu’s story she has thought of something
-She starts to get really cocky
-Araragi kicks her and tells her every second is important right now
-She tells him Kurayami isn’t a Kaii and she knows someone who knows about it
-Araragi asks who and she tells him Gaen Izuko
-She knows everything
-Kurayami appears in front of them
-It swallowed up the bed of desk Araragi made for Hachikuji
-It didn’t swallow Ononoki despite her being the closest but rather tries for Hachikuji who was the farthest
-Araragi tells Hachikuji to come towards him
-He instantly grabs Hachikuji and runs towards Ononoki and grabs her too
-He tell her to get them out of here
-She uses Unlimited RuleBook - Escape Version
-Araragi fell unconscious during the escape
-They are currently on a mountain
-The time seems to be at dawn
-Ononoki tells him Kurayami didn’t chase after them and Hachikuji is currently asleep
-He was unconscious for 12 hours
-They don’t know where they are and Araragi’s phone has no reception
-Araragi remembers the name Gaen and believes that in order to contact her they need to contact Kagenui first
-However the only ways Ononoki can use to contact her are all useless right now and they need to get down the mountain first
-Ononoki asks him to get Shinobu to come out and tells him she hasn’t appear during the whole time he was unconscious
-Araragi figures that the only way to get her to come out is through kissing Ononoki again
-Just when he was about to do the deed Hachikuji appears in front of them
-He asks if she was jealous and that they could kiss too
-Ononoki puts her hand on Araragi’s shadow and she concludes that Shinobu isn’t in there
-Hachikuji tells him that she saw Kurayami touched Araragi’s shadow
-Araragi thought for a second that she was swallowed but Ononoki tells him that if she was swallowed then Araragi would be a full human now but since he can still see Hachikuji he is still part vampire
-However their bond is currently severed
-Araragi tells himself that he basically left her with Kurayami
-He tells them that they are going to leave this mountain
-Araragi says that they should use Ononoki’s Unlimited RuleBook to leave but she tells him it’s impossible
-Araragi is currently super weak without Shinobu by his side so if they keep using that skill Araragi won’t be able to handle the pressure that comes with traveling in super speed
-That was why he got knocked unconscious for 12 hours
-They are now walking down the mountain
-As they are walking they got into the topics of Araragi being a pervert and transformations
-Ononoki explains that 400 years ago Shinobu didn’t transform into a god but just pretended to be one
-She was an oni that was seen as a god
-Her story was an Onimonogatari
-Araragi asks what would happen if he stayed as he is right now and he get kids
-Ononoki says it’s impossible
-Araragi then remembers that he once met someone that was half vampire and half human
-Ononoki says it’s intriguing and that she’ll ask Gaen about it
-As they are walking down Araragi’s phone finally got one bar back
-Ononoki tells him Kagenui’s address
-They put in a secret code and they send it
-Araragi then also sends a mail to Hitagi, Hanekawa, Karen and Tsukihi reporting his safety
-By the time they reached the bottom it was already the morning of the next day, August 23th
-They are in a village
-His phone still has only one bar
-They decided to go and borrow someone’s phone from the village
-It seems Hachikuji was too tired from the walking when they were coming down and is currently on Araragi’s back
-Ononoki tells him that Gaen is the senpai of Oshino, Kaiki and Kagenui
-Araragi knocks on a house’s door and says they are travelers
-Someone comes to answer the door and it’s a women wearing a baseball cap, baggy clothes and is covered with chains and rings
-She tells him she’s Gaen Izuko
-It seems she told the owner of the house she was waiting for some people and got yanked in and treated to a meal
-She says even Kaiki might not have the thought to con these villagers
-She pulls out a couple of phones and Araragi asks how many does she have and she answers with five
-She sits on a bench and tells Araragi to do so as well
-Ononoki is forced to sit on Gaen’s lap
-Gaen tells them that Kagunui received their mail but since she’s busy with her job she ignored it
-Gaen tells Araragi that there is nothing she don’t know which is why she knew where they were and what situation they are in
-She tells him there is no need to rush and that they are very safe right now
-She tells him that she has a favour to ask of him and that before she tells him anything she hopes he’ll grant her three wishes
-He agrees
-For her first wish she wants Araragi to introduce her to Kanbaru
-She tells him she’s her niece
-The Gaen bloodline is something that is troubling and that she probably doesn’t know of Gaen’s existence
-She actually wants to continue the current relationship status but she has her own reason. It’s inside information in the Gaen household
-He says he’ll do it but he has to ask Kanbaru for permission first and that if she doesn’t want to meet her aunt then there is nothing he can do
-She asks him to not tell Kanbaru she is her aunt when he introduces her to Kanbaru
-Her second wish is for Araragi to help out with Kagenui’s job when this is all over
-It seems Kagunui thinks highly of him
-The third wish is for Kanbaru to help with the job too
-Gaen starts to explain the current situation and Araragi is clearly in a rush
-She tells him he shouldn’t leave his current spot right now and that going back to his town is the worst possible option
-She also tells him that Kurayami’s target this time isn’t Shinobu despite that being true 400 years ago
-She tells him the target is Hachikuji
-It seems that Ononoki had an inkling that could be true a long time ago but she didn’t say anything since she didn’t want to confuse anyone
-Araragi then remembers that Kurayami was charging towards Hachikuji back in the ruin
-Gaen then starts to explain everything
-Kurayami is the natural enemy of Kaiis
-The only thing one can do is run
-Kurayami doesn’t have a name
-It’ll attack humans as well if they are witnesses
-It attack Kaiis that have gone off its path
-Shinobu was attacked back then because she pretended to be a god even though she is a vampire
-The humans that witnessed Shinobu pretending to be a god was swallowed up too in order to correct this mistake
-The reason Kurayami stopped attacking her was because she did something only a vampire could do and that was creating a subordinate
-The reason the negative energy didn’t gather was because Shinobu didn’t appear as a vampire
-No one saw her as a vampire so neither did the negative energy
-After she explains why Shinobu was attacked back then she starts to explain why Hachikuji is the target this time and gets her to stop pretending to be asleep
-Hachikuji screams in fear
-The lie Hachikuji told that caused her to be a target is the fact that she currently exists
-She should have gone to the other side by now
-Hachikuji is a lost cow but after Araragi’s involvement she is no longer lost
-Since she is still here, she is lying
-As a lost cow she must cause people to become lost
-But she hasn’t done that since Araragi helped her
-When Hachikuji was unconscious Kurayami didn’t attack
-When she woke up Kurayami came
-The reason why they are not being attacked right now is because they are lost
-Although it’s not directly caused by Hachikuji, it’s being credited to her
-That’s the reason why Gaen said they shouldn’t go home
-Araragi asks how to permanently get rid of Kurayami and Gaen tells him she already told him
-Hachikuji just needs to go back to how she was before and make people lost again
-Hachikuji on the other hand refuses to do so
-The answer Hachikuji came up with is for her to disappear
-Gaen leaves and tells Araragi the numbers to three of her phones
-She says the reason she didn’t give the other two is because of safety
-Ononoki stayed behind and tells Araragi that as a witness if she left she would get eaten
-However, lost cow can’t affect those that have left it so Ononoki probably stayed because she wanted to
-Hachikuji is currently holding Araragi’s hand or rather he is holding hers
-He is not willing to let her go
-She argues that Araragi isn’t the only one that has witnessed her so people like Hanekawa might get attacked too
-There are also the people that know of her existence such as Hitagi and the other girls
-They might get attacked too
-She asks him if he wants her to have the same feelings Shinobu had 400 years ago
-Araragi doesn’t like how all of the responsibilities are forced on to Hachikuji just so everyone else can be saved
-Hachikuji then counters and says that Araragi has been doing the same thing all this time
-Araragi comes up with the answer of him continuing to be lost with her
-As long as they don’t go home and continue to travel not knowing where they are everything will be alright
-Hachikuji gets angry towards that answer and asks how could he sacrifice so much of his time for her
-At this point Araragi has given up
-He stands up and let’s go of Hachikuji’s hand

-Araragi then hears some rustling sounds coming from behind him and he figures that it’s Hachikuji putting her backpack back on
-He decides that he will see Hachikuji off with a smile and not with anger
-Hachikuji then tells Araragi that they should do “that”
-Without turning his back, he asks what is “that”
-She says it’s the tongue biting conversation
-Araragi says so that it was intentional all along
-Hachikuji then says of course and that no person would bite her tongue that way
-Hachikuji mentions that during this whole ordeal they didn’t do it a single time
-She says that if he wants to see her off then he has to fulfill her wish

-He slowly turns to face Hachikuji

-Her face is red but it wasn’t because she was embarrassed but because she was crying and tears were rolling down her cheeks
-Even still, Hachikuji was smiling
-In the end she says, “I like you the most, Araragi-san”
-The story then jump forward in time and we see Araragi in an empty classroom with Oshino Ougi
-Araragi just finished telling Ougi the story
-He continues and tells her that after Hachikuji left he and Ononoki went back to his town and helped Gaen with her job
-If he boiled it down, this following case was the one that really gave him a headache
-He had to battle on the same side as Episode as well
-He and Shinobu reconnected their bond when he came back and he introduced Kanbaru to Gaen
-Because he kissed three girls in a matter of days he had to bow in apology towards Hitagi while naked
-She didn’t forgive him and in the end had to watch a yuri scene between her and Hanekawa as punishment
-She thanks Araragi and he tells her its nothing since it’s not really something that needs to be thanked
-Ougi is the first person that knows about Hachikuji being gone outside of those involved
-She says she should thank him and if not then she’ll kiss him
-He tells her that even if Hitagi didn’t exist he won’t forgive himself for kissing someone over 15
-She says that the opposite of regular values. She then says now she understands the reason behind the failures, whether it’s that time 400 years ago or that time four months ago. If she had known earlier then what happened last month with Nadeko would have been taken care of easier too
-Araragi then asks Ougi if she knew about what happened with Nadeko
-She then says no and tells him that he told her
-After that she says she now knows everything that happened in this town, she then mentions the name of everyone including Numachi Rouka
-Araragi then questions her about what she is saying
-She says it’s nothing and that she didn’t say anything. She then says that she has a lot of work to do so she’ll be leaving
-He asks her what kind of work she has
-She tells him its family business and it’s a job passed down in her family
-He asks her if it’s the same as what Oshino does, as a balancer
-She says no and that Oshino deviates from their family
-She says it’s a normal job and if she had to compare it then it’s like the darkness that takes up more than half of the universe. It’s a job that one can see anywhere, a job that corrects the wrong and ends those that needs to be ended. Basically a job that punishes liars
-She then say to just treat her like an unyielding punisher and that Araragi will soon understand
-Ougi then leaves the classroom
-Shinobu then starts talking to Araragi through his shadow
-She tells him that woman is probably that “someone”
-He tells her that’s probably true
-He then stands up and says that the thing about Hachikuji disappearing should be kept a secret towards everyone for now and that they should see what will happen after only telling Ougi
-Shinobu then replies that she thought Araragi just said everything casually and didn’t know that he was planning something
-She then asks him for how long is he going to keep this up and he answers that he don’t know
-He needs to wait for a certain result first, he didn’t tell Ononoki to keep it a secret and Hanekawa probably knows about it already
-In the end he says they just need to pretend Hachikuji is still here in this town for now
-Shinobu then accuse him of just not willing to let Hachikuji go
-Araragi then laughs bitterly and starts to go home
-He then remembers that when Hachikuji left he forgot to say something
-At that moment while thinking about her he says “Goodbye”

There was just the reference to an old videogame, that's all, but the scene fundamentally was the same as in the anime.
