For last round...
1. Homuhomu lose as expected...come on, it's just Kurisu, who's not exactly really THAT strong...
2. Yurippe won fairly huge against Charlotte. How far have you fell, Charlotte? (Although I think she lose to Yurippe by around same margin last year...)
3. Kaminomi Civil War, Shiori edged out Kanon by 37 votes. As expected, it's a close one b/t two mid-tier (maybe...) girl
4. Niku retains the Haganai crown by 87 votes.
5. Victorique...not looking good at all when Kirino basically trash her (okay, it's only 900, but still...)
6. Poor Erio...at least Kanade didn't go over 6000 by still got 70% on her...
7. Kuroneko is still underperforming by her standard. Will see how she do against Niku this round
8. Iris lose to Riko of all people...
9. Hitagi lose by quite an amount...not even Nisemonogatari can push her up to Tier 2...
10. Nadeko lose by 800 against Saber...Fate/Zero effect?
11. Last note? Sora & Miu really disappoint me...come on, only 72%?

I don't think Kuroneko will lose to Sena any time soon. Also, Charlotte is way stronger than Homura.

- Ruri did indeed win against Sena
- Saber did indeed get much stronger..... but not quite enough to beat Mio
- Haruna even with a series boost can only barely beat Elucia
- Hinagiku < Azusa..... expected
- Kanon < Subaru, a bad result I believe
- To think Kirino could still go 7-0 if she wins against Aria. Could she actually get into the necklace round ahead of Kanade?

Well, it can pretty much be deducted who is going to the Aquamarine Necklace.

1. Yuri - Mato is strong, but Yuri is much stronger.
2. Ruri vs. Eucliwood. Tough call, but I am leaning on Eu. This is her best time than any for her to take her out and get it over with before losing to her as Regular Season continues.
3. Kirino - Aria is just not strong enough to take her down.
4. Taiga vs. Azusa. Tough call, but going to a Taiga victory.
5. Yuki vs. Shana - Yuki won by three votes last year, but that luck surely would not hold here now that Shana gained her final season. Shana should win.
6. Mio vs. Mikoto - Mikoto is most likely going to win this one. Anti-Tiara has not kicked in yet for her, it seems.
7. Kanade - Kanade is the automatic wildcard here. She'll crush Kobato and go 7-0, securing the final spot while everyone else gets 6-1.

So far, based on these results, the best looking Nova girl would be either Ruri or Eucliwood. Yuri may have the highest SDO thus far, but with Kanade added in the mix with possibly the lowest SDO, Yuri's chances are severely cut off as more votes would go to her rather than Yuri, unless the AB! fans are smart enough to give Yuri a chance for a necklace, unlike Kanade who already has one. For Stella, it seems their best character would be either Taiga or Azusa. Their match is going to be closer than Shana v. Yuki, so whoever wins this one is going to get a good lead at the necklace round.

A strong performance by Mine Riko and Irisviel herself hitting my expectations means Irisviel's loss was more due to underestimating Riko. Fear, Iwasawa and Irisviel are all roughly in the same strength range and Riko had similar performances against all three. This level of strength is also roughly in line with what I expected from Riko based on preliminary round performances. I get the feeling this this area is Riko's real strength. However, this bring up the question of what happened in Aquamarine 2 and 3 against Eucliwood and Yui. Even accounting for Eucliwood's boost, Riko looked awful against the Necromancer. Against Yui, Riko only did as well as Gasai Yuno. I interpreted this as a fall in strength from preliminaries but now it seems Riko is right back to where she used to be. Unfortunately, Riko faced Aria in Aquamarine 1 so that match is useless for comparison. Did Riko just have a really bad starting week and if so why?

None of the other matches were too interesting. Charlotte did add another to her list of wins with less than 51% of the vote. I think she's getting pretty close to the record for that. Nakamura Yuri looked pretty good in her match. She may be returning to Yui's side in terms of strength. Those two were pretty much equal in strength almost all year long in 2011.

1. Kuroneko blew Niku out...shows that it'll be years before Niku can try to even challenge Nova #2/3 (Depend on Aqua 7 results b/t Eu and Kuroneko)
2. Mato IS strong. Not enough to beat Charlotte. Last year it was 4300-3200, so basically Mato gain around 600 while Charlotte lost 500...
3. Poor Victorique...last time she match up with Eu it's 3000-2300. This time it's 5300-2500...(Okay, I know Eu gain LOTS of strength while Victorique fade to oblivion, but still...)
4. Homura lose by the biggest margin yet. Not unexpected, though...
5. Poor Elsie, this is the 2nd match in 6 that she lose by a nail...
6. Erio edged out Yozora, and to think that Yozora has 0 problem winning against Homura = it'll be a LONG season for any Homuhomu lover like me...(Although in Erio-Homura matchup I'll go Erio anyway...)
7. Upset alert for Saber is right. Mio still managed to win this one but she may not be as lucky next time...
8. Kagami-sama lose again...last year it's 4000-3500 in Kagami's advantage, now it's 3700-3850...

While true, Kanade will likely be in a much better position this year. Also Kanade have hopefully learned from last year that they need to put in some effort when playing with such a large handicap.

Here's a chance for both to prove who will be the..... second strongest of Nova. Kobato < Kanade: Another win for Kanade, although with Kobato losing to Sena could affect Kanade's chances of winning Aquamarine necklace Yuri > Mato: (1) Yuri is looking to win and go 7-0 (2) Yuri is hoping Kanade is not involved in necklace match if she does win Shana > Yuki: Yuki won against Shana by 3 last year. Shana appears to be stronger this time around. Shana already has an Aquamarine necklace to her record. Yuki would have a very good chance if she wins. Azusa = Taiga: Could be a close match. Taiga already has 2 necklaces, Azusa is still looking for her first. A win could give her that chance as long as Mio is not involved. Mikoto > Mio: Not much to say here except both were Aquamarine necklace winners. hinakatbklyn Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2009	- Ruri did indeed win against Sena - Saber did indeed get much stronger..... but not quite enough to beat Mio - Haruna even with a series boost can only barely beat Elucia - Hinagiku < Azusa..... expected - Kanon < Subaru, a bad result I believe - To think Kirino could still go 7-0 if she wins against Aria. Could she actually get into the necklace round ahead of Kanade? __________________

broken270 Defying gravity Join Date: Jul 2010	Well, it can pretty much be deducted who is going to the Aquamarine Necklace. 1. Yuri - Mato is strong, but Yuri is much stronger. 2. Ruri vs. Eucliwood. Tough call, but I am leaning on Eu. This is her best time than any for her to take her out and get it over with before losing to her as Regular Season continues. 3. Kirino - Aria is just not strong enough to take her down. 4. Taiga vs. Azusa. Tough call, but going to a Taiga victory. 5. Yuki vs. Shana - Yuki won by three votes last year, but that luck surely would not hold here now that Shana gained her final season. Shana should win. 6. Mio vs. Mikoto - Mikoto is most likely going to win this one. Anti-Tiara has not kicked in yet for her, it seems. 7. Kanade - Kanade is the automatic wildcard here. She'll crush Kobato and go 7-0, securing the final spot while everyone else gets 6-1. So far, based on these results, the best looking Nova girl would be either Ruri or Eucliwood. Yuri may have the highest SDO thus far, but with Kanade added in the mix with possibly the lowest SDO, Yuri's chances are severely cut off as more votes would go to her rather than Yuri, unless the AB! fans are smart enough to give Yuri a chance for a necklace, unlike Kanade who already has one. For Stella, it seems their best character would be either Taiga or Azusa. Their match is going to be closer than Shana v. Yuki, so whoever wins this one is going to get a good lead at the necklace round.

Kuroneko blew Niku out...shows that it'll be years before Niku can try to even challenge Nova #2/3 (Depend on Aqua 7 results b/t Eu and Kuroneko) 2. Mato IS strong. Not enough to beat Charlotte. Last year it was 4300-3200, so basically Mato gain around 600 while Charlotte lost 500... 3. Poor Victorique...last time she match up with Eu it's 3000-2300. This time it's 5300-2500...(Okay, I know Eu gain LOTS of strength while Victorique fade to oblivion, but still...) 4. Homura lose by the biggest margin yet. Not unexpected, though... 5. Poor Elsie, this is the 2nd match in 6 that she lose by a nail... 6. Erio edged out Yozora, and to think that Yozora has 0 problem winning against Homura = it'll be a LONG season for any Homuhomu lover like me...(Although in Erio-Homura matchup I'll go Erio anyway...) 7. Upset alert for Saber is right. Mio still managed to win this one but she may not be as lucky next time... 8. Kagami-sama lose again...last year it's 4000-3500 in Kagami's advantage, now it's 3700-3850... __________________
