The ending of M7 is nice actually. It doesn't have anything that can be called development, it's simply a plot resolution. It was made quite nice nevertheless. Try Again is a nice song as well.

I have he Fire bomber english album somewhere and the JP track I like most of the songs, more so than most of MF's songs.

but I wasn't expecting someone to give away circuital plot points to the series, right under the guy that said he barely watched past episode 2.

Question, how many related forums of media does Macross 7 have. Such as, additional episodes, mangas, was there a movie?

Also, did it have much bearing on the other Macross series?

I wish the ending of Macross 7 would clear up whether Max and Milia will get back together or not. Basara is Basara, so the triangle that he was involved in didn't really matter to me as much as Max and Milia's problems.

Well, I think that their current situation suites them more. It was strange for me to see the proud ace Milia doing housewife work and throwing babies at visitors

they were happy until Milia became mayor of city 7. that is where their problems started. I guess once they settledown on a planet for good the problems will go away. I have only watched till episode 31, so I don't know if they stayed where they are now or if they took off.

Nah in Dynamite 7 it showed Macross 7 in space.

Their last daughter was Mylene, she was 14 in Mac 7. Their adopted daughter was before the events of Mac 7, where she was already a teen then.
