lol, why not? for what i know otakus are hardcore fans of something like "anime/manga/novels/sci-fi they are the "japanese version of "nerd" but as i hear peoples saying in the "asian level(which is even more hardcore).

some series i watch because of "sinpose bait" or sometimes i go look for "places with the source material or others mine personnal experience with main source, this means which sometimes while the main source could not be good the anime adaptation can ending surprising me cuz, many times the director try to go to a more original route and that route can make things good for me, then that is why sometimes i take the risk to give a try.

when i started read the mangas was more like the premise of a girl starting to work in a game develop team, then i think maybe this can have a balance and show good things but while really sometimes the author give some info into the developgame work place is really little in the end and the focus is just cute girls and to be honest i feel the anime did even "better than the source" since the source is a 4 koma which could be worked like a 10minutes anime rater than 24 and to be honest since is a long time i stoped read the manga(dropped) i can't say for sure but if i'm not wrong this end is original anime the manga until where i stopped this not happened and don't looked like gonna happen too soon.

I watch animes as many peoples to have fun and see something "diferent".

And when i use the otakus is because we know which normally things like cute girls doing cute things are "otaku baits", because they are the bigger loves of that series, this don't means which others can't like it but this sort of serie we obvious know what sort of "public this sort of show is trying to target most.

and after read that i'm really done with answers looks like really some peoples can't proper deal with criticism or just are too hardcore fans and can't accept others peoples opnions.

well wathever.

You never wanted to see the points to begin with, hence it's not even necessary to talk about you missing something since you don't want to see them. It's pretty asinine to praise Amaama for its supposed "plot" while bashing New Game. The only fundamental difference is the amount of cuteness wrapped around the core issues. The core issues are there, only you are running straight past them to make your supposed "point".

sweet & lightining have a plot being around a guy learning to deal alone with his little daughter which is something more "family friend and not "fanservice forced"(again i'm not against fanservice( without count which part of the plot is the father learning to make food for his daughter

unlike this serie which most of the times is just trying to sell "cute girls doing cute things with just little things about work and make games this make a huge difference, a serie which a good plot and another which most of the times must relly on fanservice and otaku bait.

that is the huge difference that is why i can prise one and feel the other lackluster for me.

i think is even unfair comparing a serie with a good plot and don't need fanservice with one with little plot and need to use a lot of fanserivce, they are 2 big different things one is friend family another is otaku friendly.

Ps: to be fair sweet and lightning for me is not "perfect" cuz like i told in the other thread the lack of more deep in the girl issues was my letdown in the series if they also had take it more serios as they did with the guy could be really cool see the girl and mother getting in a better position and she loose her fear of knifes for me that 2 things need to be proper adressed to be a really awesome slice of life.

Anyway, so apparently the anime covered the first 25 chapters of the 4-koma series. Can anyone confirm this? I wanna know that lady who was always shown on the reception table during the victory party.

Watched the final episode today:

Wow, it's like the feeling of a graduation day at school. This episode made me feel that they've accomplished something, makes me feel warm. Aoba and Hifumi are my favorite characters, but I feel that everyone contributed something positive to the show. Well, not all positive.. there's one episode where I got bored - but no show is perfect. Bring on the second season please!! ^______^

Oh, and how Yun criticized the Karen cosplayer reminds me of... certain people... that I know in our cosplay community who would criticize every detail of a costume.

And that final scene where drunk Yagami, drunk Rin + Aoba and Nene tagging behind made me laugh at least twice.

Score: 9/10

This is correct. There are a few small bits that didn't get included, but nothing of significance. This was a good adaptation. On the other hand, it wouldn't take all that long to read through those chapters either, so if you look into the manga you could just start from the beginning and see how it all compares.

This was a surprisingly good series overall. It was fun watching this show, and I'm glad it didn't took itself too seriously as a show involving making video games.

Seconded. I've crossed the finish line, and while I know first-hand that New Game! is hardly representative of reality, it's nice to watch a sweetened version for entertainment. I wonder what our resident experts on all things Manga Time Kirara have to say about this anime — they seemed pretty interested in how Dell Inspiron computers would be up to the job of 3D modelling

As someone who works in IT Support, you'd be surprised the shitty machines people do things like 3D Modelling on.

Was it really a spoiler about Connor's turn though? seems like they implied it in the Fairies Story 3 trailer

A cinematic trailer can be taken with a grain of salt. Besides, nothing in there directly indicated him turning evil. It showed him sparring with the hero on friendly terms, being in the hero's party, and fighting alone against what appeared to be the major villain. Once you know that he's going to turn evil you can make conclusions about him from some of those things, but before you know it? It would be unlikely anyone could really solidly conclude from the trailer that he'll end up turning bad.

I have to make a correction. These turn out to be not Inspirons. They are XPS's, which are obviously better than Inspiron, but still a bit short on 3D rendering.

I need a bit of time regrouping. This is the first Kirara anime since my new job, which means viewing time is quite fragmented--I have just started watching Episode 12. What I'm sure, though, it's better than the two past season (Anne Happy and Three Leaves, Three Colours), and is on par with the better-known of Doga Kobo's Slice of Life adaptations (Nozaki-kun and Umaru-chan in the two previous years.

And no. Being a bioinformatician by trade, it's not quite the same as a graphic designer (or, to be exact, a graffiker), but I know Hobunsha does know quite a few of their readers are already working.

By the way--the game publisher's name is Hobundo.

An XPS 8900 in its stock configuration, maybe, but Eagle Jump would likely update their machines with a more suitable GTX 780 (New Game!'s release date of 2013 suggests a Kepler line of GPU), which, coupled with stepping up the RAM, would allow the machines to hold their own.

With that being said, I wonder why you're insisting that it's the Dell line when there's the possibility that the cases merely look like Dell computers. The appearance of a case does not always indicate what its components are like. I have background in bioinformatics, but presently I am in a software-related field, so my experience speaks for itself (i.e. I can spot false assertions about computers and software development very quickly).

With this being said, Hobunsha is certainly not writing for realism's sake, they are writing to tell a story. So, whether or not Eagle Jump's computers are up to the task are irrelevant. Just bite the bullet, suppose they are, and move on; there's no sense in getting hung up over the minutiae

I wonder if Eagle Jump is capable of making a game on a PS4 and/or WiiU should they upgrade their machines?

If I remember correctly, SNK's release of The King of Fighters XIV was briefly criticized on graphics, but they improved overtime even though the final release pales in comparison to Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator and Street Fighter V in the visual department. But hey, KOF XIV has solid gameplay and content.

I've read that the PS4 GPU is similar to an ATI 7870 in performance, and the GTX 780's I'm thinking that are likely to be used by Eagle Jump edge out the 7870 slightly. So, while an upgrade is not essential, it could be useful. As for the WiiU, my Google-Fu hasn't found an equivalent GPU, but Nintendo's consoles are supposed to be similar to an underclocked ATI 4650 or 4670 with fewer shader units. So, it's reasonable to speculate that Eagle Jump should be able to develop for WiiU without too much trouble

While I'm a graphics nut and experience jaw drops whenever DICE or Crytek releases footage of their latest projects, I'm of the mind that good gameplay trumps good graphics. It seems that Eagle Jump publishes with the aim of building a polished, consistent-looking game rather than one that features all of the latest tricks in volumetric lighting, diffuse shadows, dynamic vegetation and subsurface scattering (among the other goodies that make some games look so nice), and in-universe, it seems the fans are quite happy with the gameplay and narrative, so it's probably the case that Eagle Jump need not worry too much about being at the bleeding-edge of graphics technology.

Heartwarming modern-day fairy tale, though grounded in (a highly romanticized version of) our world, is no less magical because of its likable characters and the endearing love/friendship between them.

Only 2 books adapted so far? Eagerly awaiting season 2 then!

Just watched the OVA. Ahh, so nice. They did a good job of animating those manga chapters.
