I'm stunned, I hope I don't end up getting disappointed... It's been a long wait... Haven't felt this emotional about the return of an anime series since Evangelion came back. In other news... Does anyone know if there will be any information out about the disappeared 10th novel?

Anyway, obviously I've never really been anywhere near as die hard for the Haruhi franchise as others have been (mostly because I could never greet an anime and it's titular character as a religion), but I'll definitely be checking this out if it ends up existing. Obviously it won't be a repeat of the 2006 Kaioshin experience, but I just can't see myself being anything other then wishy washy with regard to the franchise and how I view it to this day. To me Haruhi is just a time sink with it's emphasis on moe antics, something that I could kick back and relax to, but something that could never be a religion or one of the all time great anime franchises. Still we'll see how it goes.

I don't think it's hit me yet. I won't be excited until the week before it airs, when I'll get the shakes and check these boards to see if by some freak accident the episode aired a week early.

By the way... That Newtype cover. I'm pretty sure that's Haruhi (black uniform) in Yuki's right eye and Kyon in the left eye. So all of you people debating about that are correct. :P

Its probably because in the Espers logic the world began 3 years ago, so their making it so its time is caught up with the anime. Maybe I dunno im just spitballin lol

Haha they did this in The Day of Sagittarius episode as well, this just makes it more funny.

That symbolic stuff is just great, really gives it so much more appeal and if they really did plan this then...wow they're dedicated.

I can't wait for the second season even though i've only recently watched TMoSM about 2 months ago i loved it and spent every day since i finished it checking this thread, i can only guess how you guys feel after waiting through 3 years and false info on the second season airing in 07.

Well we shall see on the 10th what they put in Newtype and everyone can either despair or go crazy in anticipation.
