@ezonx: You apparently didn't look more than 30 seconds before you started this thread.

1) Cosplay thread over in General Chat
2) Inline humongous images are discouraged.
3) Read the forum rules.

But the cosplay thread in general is only for good cosplay. Where else am I supposed to post my pictures of Card Captor Will?

Quite right!

It is still undecided if this thread will survive. Though if we let it live, the title will need to become a bit less generic to separate it from the good cosplay thread. I've already taken the proactive step of altering the first post to exclude good cosplay. (And I've replaced the mega-huge image with a thumbnail.) Of course, that won't matter much if we decide to lock the thread.

Here are some of my own from Otakon 2007.

Now here are some different kinds of weird cosplay.

Luffy:
Man of Rubber!

I actually watched him dislocate his shoulders
to pose for that picture...

Duct tape:
Not only does it hold the universe together,
it can also be a costume!

They may have guts/balls/whatever... I'll stick with my theory that people should stick to cosplay of characters they remotely resemble. I may adore Kagami or Motoko or think Kyon is a sharp wit.... maybe.... but my body/build/hair is more suited for Van Helsing, admirals with a catgirl on each arm, or Ojisan in Moon Phase -- and that's the sort of stuff I'll cosplay. My son and his girlfriend were spot on as Kyon and Mikuru recently (she's quite mikuru-moe and easily does a soft high-pitched voice ... and he's a lanky smart ass with the right kind of hair).

This thread may stand as the "why you shouldn't do this" slideshow.

Damn you, Vexx-sensei. You made me think of you cosplaying Kagami. I LOLed at that mental imagery.

It is really easy to just stay out of the thread if your eyes might bleed. Don't worry about missing anything good since that would be posted in the other thread.

And that's part of the problem..... though I'm pretty sure "bunny man" derives from that eye-bleeding sequence of hilarity in Goshuushou-sama (when Reika tries her first "troop assault").
The first OP is Sailor Moon I'm guessing... and the couple is just entering the DuckTape outfit contest many events have (that's gotta hurt later).
None of them are really something that flatters the characters much (okay... bunny man is spot on I guess).

@Ascaloth: I'll let she-who-is-cute do the twintail tsundere thing, but thanks for participating in the visualization

Quoted for truth. Not much I can add to that, because I think the same. But again, how many of us, westerners, look even remotely to Anime characters? I mean, IMHO, 90% of the world's good cosplays are Japanese. Not that there aren't good cosplays from other parts of the world, I myself know quite a few.

Here're some I've collected through the years.

Although Ed does look fairly good.

But oh wow, Card Captor Will made me lol.

Edit: Changed pictures to links. Unfortunately I don't have a way of placing thumbnails without actually doing them myself, which'll take too much time.
