I certainly hope they didn't show any screenshots from this episode in the preview.. because otherwise i have a horrible sinking feeling that its going to be a recap episode

Why would they make a recap episode right before the end of the season? Usually those are done in the middle.

lol they woudln't make a recap mid arc. Also from what Armin was narrating that should be clear enough it's an story ep.

Todays episode was aired 30 minutes earlier for reasons i dont know. Most of the episode was also filler (not manga material) For a filler it was pretty good though. We even got to see Mikasa holding Erens hand in a really awww moment.

I rate it 1/10 because even though i did not watch it yet...but seeing the screenshot where they abandon the corpses it toooo much especially Petra corpse......my heart cannot take it!!!! WTFFFFFFFFFFF

So I guess for you 10/10 would be if they leave Eren to the female titan, give Petra a proper burial and then watch as colossal titan and armored titan destroy the next 2 walls and bring humanity to exctinction?

Actually it was not a bad episode...to really rate it i would give a 7 out of 10.

It's just that the scenes where they have to abandon the corpses was too difficult for watch for me really....I could still handle Episode 21 because i read the scenes in the manga but i was totally caught off guard by the filler in episode 22 and they have to make Petra death even worse.

On a second note, Erdo wife has officially become a widow....thanks to the female Titan.

Whoever is the female titan is totally unforgivable!

After Chuu2byou, I thought people were going to start dropping the "Anime original content = Not in the source material = Filler" idea.

Specially for late night anime such as this.

dude she was already dead and she cant be more dead then how she is now... she is in better place now.... and if you think about it she had really quick death... I doubt she felt much pain.... I guess its better to have such death then be captured by a titan and beign eaten while alive... and feel all the pain from having your limbs bitten off one after another

I guess when petra was alive they had to do such things too... drop corpses in order for the remaining surviviors to get away.... regroup and try again

but what I cant understand is why cant they invent a device that can shoot a net or strong line that would tie down titans foots and make him fall to the ground... especially against the fast runners....kinda make them lose their footing and make them collapse... then go to their necks and kill....those nets or canons could be mounted on wagons while carrying bodies....

Poor Petra... killed like this and now thrown away as a corpse. Anyway, Levi is one strong dude. No wonder people say he is worth 100 guys. But now with him injured I wonder what this will have for consequences.
