A harpy like Papi getting paid to donate her egg is not that different. In fact it's ethically more sound because a donated human egg can get fertilized and become a baby, while unfertilized eggs like a harpy's don't do anything.

Human egg cell cn still be sold because it can still be implanted with sperm to form embryo. Papi's egg is most likely unfertilized mass of spent egg cell. It probably can't be artificially fertilized. So the 3 million is merely due to rarity and perverse desires of people instead of functionality. Itbs not absolute but partial cannibalism for people who eat it. Though the original strip hd them no problem s with it. It's still freaky to think about.

I prefer them scrambled but yes, as mentioned several times before, in the original harpy one pager they in fact just eat it with only the MC having slight qualms at first.

As for Arachne, I'm still hoping for the twist that reveals her to be M instead of the expected S, deliberately getting caught in her own webs and silky ropes

. At least if the translation of ch14 is accurate she becomes interested in the MC because she expects something "vile" inside of him, that could be a hint. Still a wild guess, though.
