That is true...but from what I've seen in Gamon, it looks like it's the mangaka own choice to convert his manga into battle manga in the middle of the series

I think that's just his type.

The deadline fighting thing must be catching as Gamaran pulled the same thing in the newest chapter as well. Also I figured Eiko was badass since she's been like a lazy uncle for most the manga...

I wouldn't say that this chapter is disappointing, but I hope he would add a bit more action in it

I do lament that this manga isn't getting more love than it deserves, despite being consistently awesome (as shown by this thread having only two pages). It should be an anime already!

Yeah the last 10-15 chapters have been pretty great with some great character development.

How does this manga make everyone so likable?! Seeing Oogami in that state is just.... aasdfadgafghlbfna;gh;airjglfg;agfg

Although this may be the first time that I detected serious overtones between Kurosawa and Oogami, and this is from a person that doesn't have yuri goggles. I wonder why...

LoweGear Secret Society BLANKET Graphic Designer Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: 3 times the passion of normal flamenco	So chapter 134 finally prompted me to post: Spoiler for 134 SPOILERS: I always did like the Midoritani x Shinonome pair, even more so than the Kyouko x Jiro main ship (nothing wrong with the latter, just that it's a foregone conclusion and thus doesn't have the same tension anymore), but this chapter just set the ship from wind power to NUCLEAR. The method by which Shinonome found out about Midoritani's feelings for her was cliche, but executed nicely, and it's earned the latter +love, +respect and +MANLY points. Now we only await Midoritani becoming aware that Shinonome's feelings are mutual, and we're all set. Good job man, looking forward to seeing more I do lament that this manga isn't getting more love than it deserves, despite being consistently awesome (as shown by this thread having only two pages).
