Well, I'm not a die-hard Ritsu fan. I'd love to see Yui take first place, but I happen to like Ritsu a lot as well, so I support her just as much.

homura's not in the poll. she's supposed to be in the first place or in the top five atleast. i kinda hate the poll. TT___TT

but in any case, sheryl still deserves to be no. 1. =)

C'mon...

the polls change quickly throughout the time, and different polls (ex: different magazines and websites) also tend to give different results.

I don't think people should take polls or award ceremonies like the Academy Awards too seriously (at least I don't). I mean, whatever the result, it's not going to change your feelings towards the characters or series you love, right? Not to mention that getting into the Top anything is usually an impressive achievement considering that they have to compete with a lot of other characters or series.

Plus, K-on! is the only series besides Macross Frontier to have three of its main characters make it at the top of those polls.
