Dood, I co-founded that group. Doubt all you want, but they will be released at one point. Not sure when though, because we are concidering changing source. Our current source is from the French R2 dvds, which are converted NTSC dvds, and that isn't so pretty...

asian love soccer, not just the japanese, and captain tsubasa is one of the most popular soccer show in asia.

Captain Tsubasa J would be a better choice, but it's just my point of view (I would think "if it's to do a remake, it's better to do the good one than the crappy one).

Not to mention that Captain Tsubasa J have some great episodes at the end (the World Youth part, the 12 last episodes)

I've only seen bits of original captain tsubasa, here and there. Ct2k2 is great because it retells the whole story, in a shorter formats, plus adds stuff!

I started this group to continue subtitling Captain Tsubasa Road to 2002 where Infusion left off a couple of maybe 3 years ago. We have episode 13 in QC, but, the typesetters keep dropping away like flies for me. Tl checker could be needed for episode 14+, but the tl is quite good at this episode.

But graphics and animations are crappy, contrary to CTJ.

But it's your choice, likes and dislikes are (only) a matter of taste.

This picture is in road to 2002 episode 10 ( in the 17th to the 17:30 minute margin, the part of the episode when tsubasa scores the winning goal on wakashimazu. )

The editor who said she quit the tsubasa project decided to come back, even if she'll only be editing one episode a month I came to the conclusion that it's better to release something rather than nothing when all staff positions are filled.
