This is a war drama, mind you.

Romance.. or what passes as it, is there.. but it's really secondary and not the main point of the anime..

I don't think romantic love really has that much of an influence on the major events in the story. And you seriously can't say that Nuwangi was "in love" with Eruruw. A crush maybe, but definitely not romantic love.

When did I ever say Nuwangi was in love with Eruruw?

I meant that in a different context ~ e.g. Hakuoro loves Eruruw, Nuwangi kills Eruruw, Hakuoro HATES Nuwangi because he killed Eruruw who he loves.

Apologies if I implied otherwise.
