Much better than STGCC. More events. As in stage events and invited guests that suit my taste I mean. If you are looking at third party exhibitors, STGCC may have more
For me though, it's mainly because Chara-Expo's service quality is better. STGCC has really seen a drop in staff service quality recently otherwise I would have gone for both but at this rate, it's not worth giving my cash to STGCC's organizers

The event schedule of CharaExpo has been out for a while. I'll most likely skip STGCC & just go for CE.
A bit sad that they assign Rita and Myth & Roid on the same day cause I'm not able to attend on that day... |

ah I forgot that this forum has a thread about AFA
Should have met with some animesuki friends in AFAID the recent AFAID is not really like before where they sold lots of doujin books since most of them are in another event like COMIFURO, etc. but still, the concert is pretty good even if it is held in JIExpo The exhibition is also good and Akiba stage is a brilliant idea as well even if there is no cosplay competition, there are still lots of cosplayers walking around satisfied overall |

Just decided to sacrifice few hours of sleep time and attended Myth & Roid's mini-live earlier on, but the poor audio setup at the venue made my ears hurt on the entire live...
