Yeah 18 at this point is pretty silly, though it'll forever confuse me as to why it takes 16 that long to join the battle. Maybe it would have made a difference if he joined the fight when Piccolo was around, who knows. Still i'm glad he joined when he did, just for that epic/touching line of his that i pointed out.

& i'm also glad that there's another awesome 16 moment yet to happen. :3

Tenshinhan's Shin kikoho attack lasted ridiculously long in Z , so thankfully the same won't happen here, going by how much material they plan to cover in episode 76.

Makes one wonder, if 17 and 18 had decided to go murderous like in Trunks' timeline, 16 probably would have done them in. But instead he seems to have influenced them to be good.

I don't think that was the case at all. The fact that the future altered so much would be the reason why 17 and 18 were so different. 16 was just along for the ride.

I don't think he had anything to do with it. It was probably another one of those changes that occurred because of Cell or Trunks' influence on the timeline. Maybe since he deemed them not necessary, thus building A19 and his own Android body, he didn't go through the effort of negatively influencing them and left their overall core personalities intact.

That's a good theory, I had always assumed Goku's death and the lack of 16's moderating influence were the case but that probably isn't enough to account for the huge difference.

I dunno, I sorta expect to be in the minority on this, but I dug the music during No.16 and Cell's battle in the beginning of the episode. It was just so damn campy, I couldn't help but smile.

Well I do agree that 16 probably would have done something if they were as bad as in Trunks' future. Do like some of the theories, but it's good that they weren't as bad. I mean they still intended to kill Goku, but while horribly bad that's not as horrible as killing billions of innocents.

Do really wish that 18 would do something at least. I mean she doesn't jump in when Cell attacks and she doesn't really run either. It's only until Cell is finally advancing on her that she even does anything. I can understand the whole situation being a bit overwhelming, but she didn't do herself many favors. Guess a major problem is the androids feeling they are so far above everything else that the moment something dangerous comes along they don't know how to respond to it.

Heh, I enjoyed it too. Not a musical masterpiece by any means but it fit the scene.

Since when did it have to be a musical masterpiece?

I'm pretty picky musically, though I think Kai has a great soundtrack. It gets me pumped up, I might actually put it on my Ipod for when I go to the gym now that I'm thinking about it.

Endless Twilight posted a picture of a DBKai calender, which had Majin Buu on it. Given that it would be impossible to finish the Cell and Buu arc within the next 25 episodes, it seems it was just a rumor. By my estimates we might see around 125 episodes, though that depends how much they trim off the Buu arc. It could be a bit more or even a little less. The Frieza arc was significantly cut down, though I think it had more filler in the original series than the Buu arc did.

Spoiler for Episode 76:

One big change is that Goku's famous challenge isn't the focus of the episode anymore, so that part seems way more rushed. Good pacing for what they had to cover.

Rushed? I thought the pacing of this episode perfect.

I kind of had to laugh at the random dude wearing a "I am Super Saiyan" T-shirt. I never noticed that one before.

I thought the exact same thing. Though, I thought it read The Super Saiyan.
Either way it was really funny.
