Yeah, really the only problem I had was they gave her a "D"ish cup when she's a B/C at best. Cup Size does not equal beauty which is a shame because otherwise its a wonderful pic.
Hmm a crop teaser^^ Guess I can do that (already had a few Pm's for it^^) I'll do it up when I get home from work today.

That pseudo-connection to a Finnish "engfinnish-word" has me wishing that the spellng Holo rather than Horo had caught on despite it being incorrect romaji.

"Holo" sounds like hollow and this is annoying if you ever watched some episodes of Bleach. I'd say most of us aren't finnish and don't speak finnish so who cares? Just ignore it.

Agreed, Horo just sounds better then Holo (refs to holo-gram, hollows from bleach...etc) plus it just doesn't roll of the tonge nice like Horo does^^

I agree -- I much prefer Horo... (after all if you LISTEN to how she says it...)
I've just gotten one too many stupid "whore" jokes in the last few days over a character I enjoy and its making me grouchy rather than mellow. Linguistically, I've always found lame jokes about foreign words that coincidentally sound similar words in other languages to be.... well, juvenile.

Definitely just prefer Horo since it just feels right. Probably partly due to the fact I've gotten used to it and anything else would feel weird. Do understand as well the Holo - Bleach connection that helps it to just not fit for me.

Can also appreciate the feelings on the jokes about Horo's name. Really just gets you annoyed when a character you like gets that kind of treatment. Names are bound to have less than flattering meanings in someone's language if you look hard enough. It's a good name.

Anyways, back to something more relaxing. Horo has great pics out there .

So do I, but her dialect and the fact that she's from "the north" (Scandinavia if we're assuming this takes place in Europe) makes this a bit less of a stretch than usual. But rather than making it easier to understand, it kinda just makes it more annoying.

Not that I care and besides the posts are interesting, but most of what we (including self) are talking about should really be in the Horo discussion thread and not here^^

Back on topic here is the crop teaser of the pic I removed

Spoiler for NSFW:

PM me if you want the whole thing^^

Here's a lame attempt to put the Horo "as a Finnish insult" thing to rest --> I moved it over to the Horo's World thread where it seemed to belong. Obviously it won't put it to rest, but it will give someone information to assess the people who keep trotting it out

http://forums.animesuki.com/showpost...3&postcount=26 (research on Horo meaning)

I agree!

When I hear "Holo," I think of holograms, which in turn, makes me think of a particular hologram:

I didn't know Horo's voice was done by the same seiyuu as Karen from Code Geass. Thank you for the image.
