Manga 'Mitsuboshi Colors' is getting an anime adaptation.

Plot Summary/Premise
Quote:
The "Colors" are three cute little girls who hang out together and say they're protecting the peace of their city. They have lots of fun together, doing stuff like playing games, solving puzzles, and going to the zoo. This manga follows their largely happy daily life.

Not really. Silver Link may adapt it the same way as they did with NNB.

Hmm ... this one is not bad for me, but it has never blown me out of the water per se. Same mangaka who does Hitoribocchi if I remember correctly.

Kinda curious to see if a different medium will be able to make the story more engaging for me....

I'll give the anime a chance when it comes out. I have a soft spot for Ueno park and environs, it's near where I usually stay when I visit Tokyo and I often take an early morning walk around the pond before breakfast. Seeing the same places appear in the manga is kinda interesting (also the DS crowd outside the Akiba Yodobashi Camera store is a real thing...)

This manga didn't really engage me. There's nothing bad about it, and I'm sure it will be quite cute as an anime, but it just felt like it was lacking something to make me want to stick with it.

This series does have some good random/what the? moments that characterize some of the more memorable interactions we have children ... but even so - nothing compared to, say, Yotsuba, or even a humbler level Renge.

Thread title update?

Anyway, although I prefer Hitoribocchi myself (another series from the same author), this isn't a bad series at all. If you're enjoying cute girl destroying humanity protecting the peace of their city doing kids stuff, then this might be for you .

For the people who couldn't see it because of region blocking.

Episode 1:

I have to admit, this was a fun episode from what this show has to offer. The OP song is catchy with some colorful characters. The three main kids of the show really brings out the energy from this episode. They behave in the way I expect kids to so far.

Besides that, I think the comedy of this episode is done well. Fun stuff, got what I had expected overall from the first episode.
