heck, Young Onizuka doesn't look like the current Onizuka either. He has aged for the worse.

I think it looks like her, and I think she looks really pretty.
Do you think she looked better in the last volume of GTO? Personally I think she looks much better now.

From the last panel of page 12 onwards, that's classic Shinomi right there. I mean take a look at the last panel on page 14 in particular. You can't say that doesn't look like the Shinomi we know and love

Might not be one of the things your hung up upon, but it can be expected a girl changes her hairstyle a bit in 6 or so years.

I am amazed she is still holding a candle for Onizuka. What we have to see now is if she will still like him considering he is not quite the same one she loved. Can the current Onizuka win her heart again?

Right, regardless of changing art styles which are expected from any author, the main thing is it's not as if her personality's done a complete 360. I'm sure we'll see more maturity from her than before but that's a positive in my eyes.

I think she looked muuuuch cuter in Shonan Jun'ai Gumi. Fujisawa's like Rumiko Takahashi for me: their art gets better but their character designs get worse over the years. Everyone in 14 Days looks the same. If not for their hairstyles I couldn't tell Ikuko from Ayame from Miki from Shinomi!

But yeah, it's the personality that counts. Shinomi still = love.

Its why in GTO he's so strong

Well , for Shinomi's case , she was raped once by Takezawa .

so what´s your language? I can likely manage spanish, Do die hard dictionary translation with french and german would be perfect.

If it´s taiwanese chinese mandarin portugese italian i´ll have major probs or any other language i cant relate to

All depends on how well vol. 1 sells in Japan. We won't know till the manga sales figures for October come out, I suppose.

every good story´s supposedly a triology, guess it´ll just have to end with onizuka getting laid in the 3rd part of the story, which would make it chronologically the second part, well put inbetween somewhere the second part (GTO). Reminds me of one of my nations´ greatest works of literature Toldi, order of appereance for part 1-2-3 were chronologically 1-3-2 aswell :/

Just curios Dorfl, how far into Shonan Junai Gumi have you read? Just wondering which style of Shinomi you like best

Personally I think she looks way better now than she did the last time she appeared in GTO, and looks way more individualized as well. She did look a lot better in Great Toroko Oppai, but she seriously didn't look like the Shinomi we know at the end of GTO here.

I always was hoping that Shinomi and Onisuka would meet again. She has been waiting all this time for him. Next week there will be more of them too. Please, let it be Shinomi the one that gets Onisuka's virginity. IT was a very warm moment when they show her with Onisuka's picture
