This season/continuance is nowhere near the quality of previous season.
Something is off here, but can't quite figure out what.
The focus of the story is jumping all over the place.
Wish that would stop that 'cause it's getting annoying.

I'm agree with you...Since the new season started the animation changed too much with filler around episodes

because this was in the plans of the anime, mashima is trying to fix all the rushs which happened in the manga, and make sure anime not catch manga too soon, and obvious probably we gonna get even more fillers when the fights starts, another good exemple will be laxus fight, probably will get more fillers because was another moment which the fans complain, their are trying to make the gmg arc look better, based on the feedback their get from the fans.

again about animation, i'm still prefer current than the previous one from the old animation studio, their started good with animation but before the last 5 to 6 episodes the animation was more crap than current one.

After the Erza fight this last episode I'm not complaining about the animation anymore. It became instantly clear why the episodes so far looked so cheap: they were saving everything to animate Erza being badass.

Erza being a badass is always worth the money put into it. Although, the fight animation was just...amazing for Fairy Tail's usual. Seeing all three of them flipping around each other, attacking whoever was in range - it really conveyed the chaos of a three-way battle between equals. Such a shame that the 'Kitty Card' was played - this will just devolve into a bloodbath.

As for the funny:

- Chelia vs Juvia is adorable. A crying Mavis is even more adorable.

She's always badass <3 ...Yeah i like it so much but in total i can rate it 7/10 for animation .

Finally done with the Executioners. The padding they put into those fights were painful; too much pointless showing off by the bad guys, only to be defeated with one strong attack by the FT members.

And I'm so looking forward to the next episodes! Erza vs. Kagura vs. Minerva! Ever since I read this chapter last year I knew they were going to make this battle epic. Hope they keep it up.

And @Immblue: I totally agree with you. I hope someone corrects it. (Regarding the spoiler post).

The fight was really nice, though short. music fit really well.

Certain scenes I don't remember reading, but I'd have to double check to make sure, like Hisui purposely sending FT down, and Minerva's spell. I swear it looked like something Angel used in the last arc.

No, those things were there. Read chapters 312 and 313.

Not sure if I want to give them props for a pretty solid cliffhanger or sigh that they completely give it away in the preview . Suppose it can't be helped since it'd be hard to show a preview for the next episode when considering the focus of next week .

I know Erza feels incredible guilt there, but she's really stretching the blame for Simon's death. At that level you might as well say his death was Natsu's fault since he got beaten up by Jellal requiring Erza to cover for him. In the end it came down to Simon making his choice and Jellal actually firing the attack (while taking into account serious brainwashing).

This episode reminds me of how much I wish Jellal stayed dead, that freaking zombie just keeps coming back, and made me dislike Erza.

That's right it's Natsu's fault, he just had to act smart and destroy the Tower.
Nah to me everyone is at fault in this, Natsu, Erza, Jellal, Ultear and Simon. But no one is to be blamed too. They were all doing what they think was right back then.

this means who was bad or good???
you know anime is "more light(less blood and dark scenes) their need tone down the scenes sometimes, like miliana which was also tortured from minerva but their could not put it in anime since anime is on "children time" schedule.

UOU! Talk about spoilers... While it's true that Fairy Tail always had massive spoilers on the OPs and Previews I don't quite recall them spoiling a cliffhanger so badly like they did this time
