As much as I'd Like some more action I doubt we'll see any this ep. the Finale better go out with a bang to make up for the lack there-of. Admit it, it's been far and few between in frontier, too much Psuedo-political Intrigue and soap opera BS.

Reading your post confirms one thing. You are obviously new to the Macross franchise. Not that we have anything personal against your opinions, but that is how Macross is set up. You will find Macross to be a different animal compared to other mecha franchises, such as Gundam. Macross tend to focus on the normal human qualities of characters, that is why you will never find super aces in the likes of Gundam (although occasionally you have psychos such as Basara...), and that is why you will never find super mecha units capable of taking out xx enemies in xx seconds.

Action is utterly meaningless to me if I'm not invested in the characters participating in it, the reasons for the fighting, or the complete lack of apparent tactics or direction.
