Spring 2017: Your Expectations and Anticipated Series

Now that we are just beginning the half way point of the season, I thought it would be a good time to post the anticipation thread for the upcoming Spring 2017 anime season as well. What series are you all looking forward to, or even curious about?

Wow, definitely looking forward to this season. It has the most series I'm actively interested in watching at 10 titles.

Will definitely watch:

Uchouten Kazoku 2 - Absolutely loved the first season. Number one show for me this Spring.

Attack on Titan 2 - I wasn't even a licensed physician yet when the first series came out. Might as well be in it for the long haul.

Atom: The Begninning - What can I say, Astro Boy was one of my first anime and I grew up on it. As a prequel to their research that would eventually lead to the creation of the robot boy with the human heart of gold, I'm more than interested.

The rest:

Tsuki ga Kirei
Sakurada Reset
Clockwork Planet

Saenai Flat, Sword Oratoria, Kekkai Sensen and Beyond and Sakura Quest for me.

That's way more than what I have right now.

There are no doubt some series yet to be announced, but at the moment here is the list:

Very interested: Alice to Zouroku; Natsume Yuujincho s6; Tsuki ga Kirei.

Moderately interested: Uchouten Kazoku s2; Hinako Note; Zero Kara.

Curious: Sakurada Reset; Sakura Quest; Kabukibu.

OVAs: Mahoutsukai no Yome ep 2; Amanchu Special; Himouto Umaru-chan OVA; Brave Witches "ep 13"; GochUsa s2 Special.

Carryovers: Little Witch Academy.

I will probably try other series out, but at the moment those are the ones that are most in the foreground for me.

BAHAMUT S2, Uchouten kazoku S2, StarMyu S2, Kekkai sensen S2

With the sequels out of the way, I'll also try:

Kabukibu, LoveKome, Warau Salesman
Seikaisuru kado for the potential trainwreck factor.
Atom the Beginning, because I'm not a Tezuka fan but I'll give it a chance for the cast.
Natsume yuujinchou, if there's more Tanuma and Taki, because at this point I'm in it for them.
Also the Million Pretty Boys Show, and maybe the naughty priest one if the casting is right

I love this season with all of its novel/ln adaptions

HYPE LIST
Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Isogashii desu ka? Sukutte Moratte Ii desu ka? (aka sukasuka) - very acclaimed story. Almost a winner of kono ranobe. I follow some people on twitter that have read this and they love it too and I'm sure they have fantastic taste so
Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata s2 - woooooooooooooooooooo maruto. wooooo tomoya getting btfo.
Sakurada Reset - I heard this was good
Uchouten Kazoku S2 - Morimi, not much to be said.

Watch:
Clockwork planet - NGNL author
Ero Manga sensei - Fushimi Tsukasa(oreimo) author. Also, "I love dicks" girl.
Danmachi Sword oratoria: high level dungeon crawling without bell. Seems good
Kabukibu - seems interesting. I think this is actually a novel and not considered a ln I think.
Shingeki No kyojin s2 - fun, too bad this will be the shit arc where they fight against humans more than titans.
Zero kara hajimeru no sho - it's dengeki, I feel obligated.

try
Tsuki ga kirei- maybe this Seiji kishi show will be nice.
Shingeki no bahamut s2 - didn't really like s1 but I somehow finished it so I'll give this a try
Sakura quest - this must be shirobako's spiritual successor
rokudenshi - this looks like that other harem ln with the teacher and the beetles. I remain skeptical since I dropped that.
Re:creators - uhhh, chuu2 ? I love chuu2.
Kekkai sensen - I somehow finished s1 so I'll try this. hopefully it has a forcefully shoved in anime-only plot and not just weird episodic stories.
boruto - uhh, maybe

I'll look at other stuff later.
for movies, prob stick to wasuyu, mahouka, and yoru wa mijikashi for now.

A lot of Spring titles this year.

I'm pretty excited about the sequels such as Attack on Titan Season 2, My Hero Academia S2, Natsume Yuujinchou S6, Shingeki no Bahamut: Virgin Soul

New titles I'm interested the most are: Kabukibu!, Sakura Quest, Tsuki ga Kirei, Zero kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho, and Yu☆Gi☆Oh! VRAINS. Should be a fun season.

Will definitely try

Sakurada Reset
Tsuki ga Kirei

Sakura Quest will probably cover my SoL no matter the topic

I don't know what to do with Shingeki S2... I watched S1 dubbed in Spanish, but I don't know when (or even if) will cover S2 so...

I'll try Eromanga since I am one of those weird people that didn't hate Oreimo, although I put the manga on hold a long time ago because of the slow pacing

Then I'll probably try a couple more shows, specially Rokudenashi Majutsu and Shuumatsu, since there are so many LN getting adapted, and Gran Blue Fantasy, although it has been too much time since I watched something similar.

Most Likely to Watch:
Sakurada Reset
Clockwork Planet
Seikaisuru Kado
Star-myu Season 2 - Watched Series 1, so I''ll pretty much watch S2 as well.

Considering:
Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS - depending on who the voice actor for Yusaku is.
Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Kinki Kyouten

Shuumatsu
Tsuki ga Kirei
Sakurada Reset
Seikaisuru Kado
Alice to Zouroku

Will Try:
Re:Creators
Sakura Quest
Clockwork Planet
Oushitsu Kyoushi Haine

And then either because I don't know much about them, it's not my usual genre, and/or I just flatout don't know what to expect... I'm mildly curious about Sin: Nanatsu no Taizai, Kabukibu!, and Fukumenkei Noise (in that exact order). So I'll probably gauge viewer feedback before I commit to watching.

Warau Salesman new - sounds interesting enough.
Clockwork planet - will look into this, not sure if I'll follow through.
Re:creator - I'll check it out if I have any time left.

The definitely watching include Attack on Titan 2, My Hero Academia 2, Rage of Bahamut 2.

As for the others, I'm interested in Sakurada Reset, Clockwork Planet (because of the NGNL author), Zero kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho (because it reminds me of Spice and Wolf [human roaming around with beast person + the personalities of Holo and the witch here seem similar]), Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Isogashii desu ka? Sukutte Moratte Ii desu ka? (because someone in this site said that this is not what the synopsis may make us think it is), Re:Creators (the synopsis is interesting though the MC seems like a loser), Sakura Quest.

I'll be continuing Little Witch Academia and Nobunaga no Shinobi into their second cours.

As for the rest, I didn't see a replacement for Urara Meirouchu cuteness next season. There is Hinako Note, but I don't have much hopes for Passione. Eromanga Sensei will be good for the ClariS OP (or was it the ED.... Doesn't matter either way). Renai Boukun will be some crazy shit with that Death Note parody lol. The 2 episodes for Granblue were ok so I'll try to watch a couple more. And I'll check out a few more which catch my fancy or something.

Shingeki no Kyojin 2
Bahamut 2
Saenai 2 (only if there is more Megumi, otherwise into the trash it goes)
Berserk (CGI sucks but it's a good memory refresher, and it's needed given how slow the manga's publication is)
Natsume Yuujinchou 6
Sakurada Reset
Uchoten Kazoku 2
Sakura Quest
