your wrong he can open his eyes he opens them in one episodes for a second or two and one time in an open/ending not sure which one. Its not that there closed but i think they are slighted like because of the sun or something

You know, I always figured he was just drawn that way to depict his personality, and never considered the possibility that he might actually be keeping his eyes closed.

If he is, the reason why is obvious, and it's a very interesting point... I have little doubt that by the end we'll have greater insight into his motivations, and I hope that he's secretly plotting against Aizen. Not that Aizen wouldn't suspect and Gin wouldn't know he was suspected.

For the record, I was undecided about Gin until we saw him doing the Arrancar documentaries. Now I'm pretty fond of him.

I don't hate nor like. I love his shikai, but overall he wasn't in the anime enough for me to hate/love him.
