Well... not exactly an affair, but I do recall a fic being posted here that played with the idea of Fate and Yuuno liking each other and being afraid of telling Nanoha. Old fic, though, and it hasn't been updated in awhile, woe.
Pretty sure you mean Thunderbird's Searching Hearts.
I myself have only done fics where Fate is in love with Nanoha or Yuuno but keeps quiet because she thinks Nanoha and Yuuno should be together.

I've gotten signed reviews like that before, but the only person off the top of my head is BPHaru. Wouldn't really call his comments 'flames' per say, though.

I think this person is intentionally trying to start shit. Notice how they say homosexuality isn't natural, but then go around and assert the canonicity of NanoFate. I doubt a yuri fan would honestly say that.
Generally I don't take anyone who says NanoFate is canon, without it being preceded by "I think" or "I would like", all that seriously.
About male dominance, what part of Yuuno in that chapter is dominant? I made it a point that Yuuno isn't all "All right bitch bend over and I'll j-j-jam it in!" but "Are you sure you're okay with this?
Nanoha is the one controlling things.
They do have one point, though. I do put that content listing at the beginning for a reason.
So yeah. I'm finally getting a little time to work on my FSN Nanoha cross again. (Got banned from the computer) and I got a snag in a battle scene.
About how strong of a defense is a Barrier Jacket compared to an 'Active' Barrier?
Actually, the real question is if I go for a homerun swing on a person wearing a Barrier Jacket is it going to move them or am I just going to break an arm?
Barrier jackets don't cancel inertia last I checked. If you hit them they'd go flying back. The force of the swing is what determines how far and what kind of damage is dealt.

barrier jackets acts like Kevlar vest, they just reduce the damage dealt by an attack.
Active barriers, on the other hand, blocks and nullifies attacks depending on what kind of barrier is used and how much power that attack has. Example are given during StrikerS and Nanoha 1st movie.

This is... wrong in so many levels that I don't know even where to start...
The icing in the cake here would be that NanoFate is canon. Urg... Need some more whisky.

We all know that Nanoha has been secretly having a torrid affair with her job for years now. She loves Fate, but... how could any woman or man ever please her like Requisition Form #2019-C, Subsection 14?
Their love is so true and pure. Fate would never understand.
I haven't seen any fics like that. It's easier to find RH/Bardiche pairing stories.
Well, what comes to mind quickest to me is one of Dezo's omakes which sort of had a hint/vibe of Bardiche because it kind of played Bardiche as Fate's overprotective boyfriend. Which I found hilarious and oddly fitting.
Fate: You're the only one who truly understands me!
Bardiche: Yes, sir.
Finding Lutecia was easy enough, the girl was just standing outside of the baths, completely dry. "I take it that Sein and Wendi are inside?"
Lutecia turned to her and shook her head. "No, Master Quattro, I was thinking about my mother."
Quattro nodded at that. "I see. Well, I got called to do a mission of my own. So you can stay here today." Lutecia's face fell slightly. "Just go look after your mother today. And for crying out loud, avoid Wendi if you can help it." The last thing she wanted was that impertinent redhead screwing up Lutecia's conditioning. She wanted a loyal weapon.
Not a pet.
Not yet.
Caressing Lutecia's face gently, Quattro just smiled at her. "You'll do fine. Just relax today."
Lutecia nodded and walked into the baths.
Quattro shook her head as she saw Lutecia's rear sway slightly as she walked into the bathroom. 'Soon.' Her eyes flashed red and she grinned. 'But first, more of those "Megahs" that should be there.'
'What if they're not there, Master Levi?'
'Bah, then we'll just figure out what to do next then. I still have a lot of them.' Levi chuckled as she walked past the storage area. If she unleashed every one of her "Megahs" on the Bureau, she was almost certain that she could take most of the magic users of the Bureau out before her forces were defeated. Chuckling, all she needed to do was make some modifications to them. "Hmm..." She looked at the small ball Gadget Drones before smirking. An AMF was nothing more than a minor inconvenience for a trained mage, but if it was powered up, it could be a real problem for even the strongest of mages. 'And if they have to fight a "Megahs" as well...'
She couldn't wait for the slaughter.

"Due-neechan!"
Due blinked as she was suddenly attacked by a Sein-shaped missile. "...You know, Sein, as much fun as it is to watch you tease Tre and train Wendi, you do need to stop trying to crash into me all the time."
Sein pouted and buried her face into Due's breasts. "You're not as fun since you got your adult body back." Her eyes widened as she felt Due's hands grabbing her butt. "Due?" She looked up to see Due grinning at her.
"Well, I might be more serious and put together, Sein, but I'm still the silly girl who loves to cook and blow up the kitchen at the same time." The two of them giggled as they separated. "So, what's up?"
"I'm going on a mission with Tre-nee, Nove, Wendi and Quattro." Due couldn't help but take note of how reluctant Quattro's name came out. She really didn't know why Sein seemed to dislike Quattro, but she wasn't going to say anything about it, since Sein never got in the way of Quattro's experiments. "And, well, Quattro's not likely to take Lutecia with us."
It was another thing that bothered Due. Quattro was supposed to train Dieci, but she seemed more content to work with Lutecia. Between that and Wendi's own random mood swings and violent outbursts, the last couple of years was slightly nerve-wrecking at times.
At least Jail had managed to help Wendi out and she was far less temperamental these days.
Oddly enough, those violent outbursts seemed to only happen around Quattro.
"What about it?" Due asked, shaking her head.
"Can you keep an eye on Lutecia?" Sein looked at her older sister and sighed. "I'm worried about the girl. I don't think it's a good idea to let Quattro be around her too much."
Due shrugged at that and smiled at Sein. "Sure." She blinked as Sein hugged her tightly. "Hey, you okay?"
"Mmm... Big sis Due is really kind." Sein murmured as she closed her eyes and rubbed her face in Due's breasts. "Plus her boobs are good too and, EEEK!" She jumped, letting go of Due as she rubbed her butt. "No fair! Pinching me like that!" Sein pouted as she rubbed her butt.
Due's eyes were narrowed as she grinned at her perverted younger sister. "I think... It's time to teach you another lesson..."
"Um, I have to go on the mission." Sein gulped as Due suddenly pinned her to the floor. "You know I can phase through this, right?"
"True, but it'll be worse for you later." Due smirked as she straddled Sein's waist while pinning her hands above her head. "Now then..."
Sein's eyes widened as Due flexed her fingers in her right hand and brought it down to her body. "Hey, wait, I, BWAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!" She started thrashing as Due's fingers started tickling her under her armpits, across her breasts, up to her neck, down to her belly and over to her other side. "BWAHAHAHSTOAHAHAHAHAPPPPPLLEAAAHAHAHAHHAHAHASSEEE AHAHAH!"
"Okay!" Due smirked as she let go of Sein and stood up. "Come on then, let's go find Lutecia." She smiled at the redheaded device, who was smirking and floated after her.
"Hold on, Meister!" The blue-eyed device flew after her.
Sein twitched and giggled before rolling over and grinning as she saw Due walk out. "My sister has a nice ass."
Spoiler for Comments:
Only Sein could get away with saying something like that.

“Material-L? What are you doing here?” Not that Material-S had any objections to her friend’s sudden arrival.
Garyu took a brief moment to back off and reassess the situation while the Fate replica begun her long explanation. “Well, it all started when I wanted to go see what that Lulu girl was up to and I saw something super awesome through her door from the staircase! She was like ‘launch timing at your discretion’ and ‘Fly, Garyu!’ and I thought to myself, it was just like launching one of those giant robots! Seriously, any otaku would have lost it right there if they saw that in person. All that’s needed to make it perfect is Seiji Mizushima to direct, Toshihiko Sahashi and Kenji Kawai to compose the launching background music, a few white doves to fly alongside the hero while soaring just over the clean sparkly ocean, and it’s a guaranteed hit on Youtube or Nico Nico Douga, I’m telling you.”
Even though at the moment they were enemies who opposed each other, in this one moment, this one singular and unique moment in the universe, all the other combatants made the same face, complete with twitching. It was a Bonding Moment of Mutual Understanding where each of them, from Fried to Garyu, from the Bureau mages to the Starlight Destroyer, shared the same pain of trying to figure out what the hell Material-L was blabbering on about.
“So I talk to Yami-chan in my noggin about how she launched that Garyu guy and Yami-chan asks me to follow him and bring him back for being a bad butler or something like that in exchange for her dessert. Isn’t she nice like that? And it looks like I caught up in time, even when Mr. Kamen Rider here had a ten second head start!”
Garyu felt a sense of alarm wash over him. Even with the speed of his black light form, reaching the battlefield from the house took him about twenty seconds. And based on what the Fate replica said, she could cover the same distance in about half the time so that meant she was ridiculously fast. Then again, that Fate woman who visited the home some time back was just as fast while in those mock battles.
“I see. Go ahead and play with him for a bit. I have to deal with some naughty children here.”
“You gonna need any help?”
Material-S thought about it for a brief moment. Considering Material-L’s usual behaviour, it was likely she would immediately try to kill those two if she learned that they were responsible for Yuuno’s disappearance. And since Material-D needed them alive for interrogation purposes, the only course of action would be to keep the Lightning Assailant in the dark for now. “No, I will be fine.”
Rai shrugged. “Alrighty then but don’t take too long! It’s getting dangerously close to dinner time and that giant misshaped chicken is looking kinda tasty right now.”
“What giant chicken?” Caro then noticed that those eerie red eyes of that Fate replica looking directly at Friedrich and put two and two together, much to her discomfort. “You are not eating Fried! He’s a dragon!”
“So… you’re saying that dragons don’t taste like chicken? I mean, if he sorta looks like a chicken, then he’s gotta taste like a chicken too, right?”
“You can’t just have Fried for dinner!”
Material-L huffed in annoyance. “Why not? All I gotta do is kill him, take out the guts, clean off the scales so that he’ll be easier to chew, cut off those wings, and grill it over a fire with a dash of salt and pepper and BOOM! Instant five star dinner plate!”
“But that would ruin your appetite for dinner if you ate all of it,” noted Material-S.
“Hm… you have a point…”
‘She’s insane.’ There was no doubt in Erio’s mind that his guardian’s doppelganger was missing several marbles. He wagered that it would also make her a far more dangerous enemy to fight. “Sorry, Garyu… but can I count on you to keep that Fate-san copy occupied while Caro and I try to stop the other enemy?”
The insect warrior nodded although he didn’t look too happy about it. Not that Erio could blame him. Considering how easily he had been stopped earlier by that girl, the main question became how much time would pass until she got bored of him and actually dragged him back to the Alpines, all beaten up.
“Thanks.” He just hoped that he and Caro would have some better luck this time around considering how much they stayed on the defensive in the last fight. So far, the only advantage they had was numbers but that didn’t count for much with the power that their enemy had at her disposal.
Meanwhile, Material-L finally came to a decision. “You know what? I’ll cook that guy up anyway! He looks like a good source of protein!”
“Are you sure you want to do that?” Honestly, Material-S had no clue on the effects of consuming dragon meat. What if it made her ill?
“I won’t be eating all of him, Seikou-chan! Kero-chan will eat the rest!” On cue, the tattoo on her shoulder glowed and a burst of light flew out from it, revealing the gigantic three-headed hound on the ground who gave a gigantic howl to the skies.
‘So much for our numbers advantage!’ This was turning out to be a lousy day.
“Can he fly?” asked Material-S quietly, pondering whether he would be at a disadvantage.
“Nope but he can jump good! Go on, Kero-chan! There’s your dinner!”
As Cerberus hurled himself towards Friedrich, Erio knew that if there was ever a time to curse his luck, this would be it.
