Nancy's whole character just feels like Nancy from Ninja Slayer. Both cannot handle physical combat but are good hackers (though the Nancy from NS takes it to a whole other level), prone to fan service as well.

What is your interpretation of why the local higher ups want to blow up Valhalla? I get that they are trying to stop the Restricted Area from being closed down, but how will blowing up this city help them? Are they perhaps trying to appease the people back home who want to clean out the corruption, by blowing up the city they show that corruption is rooted out, when in reality they are just making a small sacrifice for the bigger picture. It seems to fit with what Maridyi was saying about burning some of it to the ground if they have to. I'm not entirely sure.

As I understood it, they were pretending to root out the corruption to appease some of the higher ups while also using it as an excuse to kill the orphans from all major powers gathered by Nancy. They wanted to maintain the status quo of their own little world.
