Saki's progress in the anime was a simple introduction as far as I know. I wish there was really more to her character as she was the one that got my attention the most aside from the sensei.

Sensei's pretty much obvious with Hikigaya though seeing her blush during the bride competition, the stalking, the gentle hand touching and most other stuff we all probably know.

For all its worth I'd take a sensei route after a Yukino one, over a Yui one. It kind of plays well how Hikki sees all her good parts since he's considered in the lowest level of being a guy while the sensei has up to now never found a guy to love her for what she is. If things were to branch a route that way I can definitely see Hikki saying something like "If you lose the cigarette I'll marry you after I graduate.". At least that's what I'd say to her. XD

On a side note, that Sagami girl needed a bit more payback along with Hayama (since he doesn't know all the facts) during that cultural festival event.

Hayama knew all facts, that's why he went along with Hikkis untold plan to save Sagami. In this anime you need read lot of between lines. That's why LN are better as more lines = more opportunities the catch hint.

And about Hikki-Shizuka they went on date, and Shizuka got all embarassed and cute, but yeah it's out of mine story limelight

How about Megu-megu senpai and Haruno? Do they get more in-depth progress with Hikki (like getting more personally interested in him) in the LN? And does Miura get her own arc where Hikki does his job again, this time for her sake?

Talks about there it has been some weird after taste post volume 7, even with that the usual day to day kept going on and a new request came, related to the student council president election. Next we have that each individual member's way of doing things prove to be ineffective and the situation worsens when they need to find a new way.

Then Hikigaya quotes something in the lines of what he spoke about in volume 7, on how relationships can't possibly last forever, just as how one can't change oneself. "He" who will not change, even though "his" surroundings do change.

--- Your own way of doing things, can't save people and when faced against someone who needs help, you can't do anything. (implied to be a line from someone).

And thus, someone parted from the service club.

This action, taken for whose sake? Because trying to enforce his own way of doing things "He" will end up making a big mistake.

Apparently Sagami has another small antagonistic role in 6.75 , but it looks like things end pacefully. In fact this is (naturally) one of those volumes that end in a good tone.

well in my opinion we are looking forward for some hectic events in volume 8, that will further strain the already weakened relationships.

"He" will make some big mistakes.....good foreshadowing. I felt that there will come a time when even Hikki's way of doing things will fail.....then who is gonna suffer?.... Both Hikki and the one he tried to help.

If we count the foreshadowing in volume 6, (and I think 6.5/6.75), then those who see him hurt himself will suffer as well, regardless of the result.

With the fact that Yukino stated she hate Hikki way of doing things and Yui said he need to thinks more about people feelings in the preview text, I think that it's likely that either :
- when he trying to help someone, he will make a mistake and trying to fixed his mistake by hurting himself more.
- Someone ( possibly Yui) is trying to show him that there are another way of doing things, make a mistake and Hikki will cover that mistake with his own method, this seem more fitting with the preview text.

Well i kind of think the pose yukino is doing is what you do to check if its raining outside, so this volume will probably set up hiki for some failure leaving the next volume for a moral epiphany, which i dont like.

On a side note does anyone else think that the clothes yukino is wearing look wet?
