Slightly more than what some may think, it all depends on upbringing

Agree here, my sister hear all sort of modern pop music(BS and such), when my other cousin (one year younger than my sister in age) spend his time listening to John Lennon, Frank Sinatra, Queen...etc....

Come to think of it, Jimi Hendrix is probably one of the most prolific guitarists I have ever heard. His albums are old but electric (nope I don't grow up on them). I blame him for making me play the guitar the wrong way (I am dominant right hand but find it easier to play leftie.....).

And Mio is a leftie bassist. One of the rare breeds of musicians.

Unless we see a calender we'll probably never know. It'll probably just be 2009.

Probably why the OP reminds me of the Beatles. Lefty bassist = Paul McCartney.

Very much so. Feels like many Japanese characters I see are left handed. I don't really know anything though on the actually percentage, but it seems interesting.

I do have to credit them listing Hendrix, Page and Beck (Yardbirds), since many do claim them to be the top guitarists we've ever seen. I'm just hoping to little more about Japanese Music since it's very polarizing from America/Europe.

There is alot of Mio art popping up now, seems she is the most popular one

all hail Mio!!

well not surprising to me, as I instantly took a liking to Mio and usually whoever I take a huge liking too like that is quite popular

Beat me to saying it. Mio is now my favourite girl already because of her being left-handed, not to mention being the straight talker like Kagami, and resembles Yomi-onee-chan. What's not to like about her?

She has the ED to thank, because 95% of the fanart is Mio in her gothic outfit.

I guess that's why she's so great. You can't really find any faults in Mio, but she isn't trying to be a perfect character. ^_^

Maybe, but some of the props look like they are a bit older, as if it is set in the mid-to-late nineties or something.

well I figure that schools are slow to change, my old school had alot of old stuff they were using right up to I think 2002 i.e an old BBC computer>__<

well I spied a VW Beetle so I would guess anywhere between 1998 to present is our timeline

also spied the laptops in the teachers office, which not sure how far back they widely used in Japan but laptops are a more recent edition to our daily lifes

So...because of the awesome ending theme, I checked out this series.
And I found it alright. I adore slice-of-life anime but there's so much normalty that I can take in without getting bored. I feel like this show has some potential but I'll watch more episodes to just get the gist of it.

I just really hope Yui doesn't ruin it. She's kinda annoying being the typical clumsy airhead in so many anime. But Mio rocks *3*

And I adore the animation <333

EDIT: I was wondering if someone can make a small animated .gif, NOT avatar size but like a minature sig thingy.

It's from the ED song in the begining where Mio mouths off 'lazy' & 'crazy'. If someone can capture that, THAT WOULD BE AWESOME.
Please and Thank you.

Interesting thing:

In the ED song, it clearly shows Mio hold onto the microphone with her left (playing) hand. But at the end of episode 1, she has a pick in her mouth that she takes out to start playing.

Either an error, or they'll do an episode where she stops using a pick, I bet. ^.^

I didn't see her using a pick in the OP.
