Chris Henry, the Cinncicnati Bengals wide receiver died of his recent injuries this morning. If you are totally unaware with what has happened the last couple of days, proceed to read the following article here:
Click here. In other news, the Colts outlasted the Jaguars tonight on a fluke last second interception throw by David Garrard. It seems that destiny is favoring both the Colts and the Saints to have perfect seasons.

Cowboys beat the Saints on their own turf in December, big win for them. The Cowboys kicker is crap. If the Saints keep having slow starts like this, I doubt they will make a deep playoff run. Number one seed in the NFC is still up for grabs.

Saints loss could become a hidden blessing.
They could use this loss to really assess their weaknesses, and then find ways to adjust to them. Plus, this gives them a reason to play out the remaining games hard in order to keep homefield at bay, with the Vikings red hot on their trail. Finally, all that will make the remaining games meaningful and build momentum into the playoffs. Of course, as long as, this loss does not become a confidence drain. We'll see how this turns out soon enough.

Well for the most part my Saints played like $hit today...The same mistakes and errors that we were able to overcome all season finally caught up with us tonight..We even got the a second miracle FG miss and we still couldn't win...It was a sweeeet dream while it lasted, but now it's time for us to refocus and get the home field...
Hopefully Carolina can pull an upset over the Vikes and then we can rest some guys in that last game, especially the injured defensive guys who honestly need 3 weeks to recover...Our starting corners, nickleback, and Nose Guard have to get healthy if we plan to make a playoff push...With being undefeated outta the books we have to think about health because god knows the overall injuries on defense finally bit us this week...And the Cowboys did too... It was a great ride, I wish everyone could experience these 13 weeks of gold we had...It was fun...

Haha, looks like the panthers headed my pleas...Good Job Carolina, now all my Saints have to do is win 1 game against Tampa @ home and we can rest all our injured defensive guys for two weeks...Hell we might even throw Carolina a bone in that final week and save a few of their jobs in the process by resting some guys...Sleep easy saints fans!

The 49ers are once again out of the playoffs. I didn't expect us to win, but I did expect us to put up a better performance than that. It seems that whenever we are close to taking control of our own destiny we fail to meet the expectations. The worst thing about it for me was Alex Smith and his continuing to struggle in the big games against big time opponents. The entire team looked bad, but if Smith would have looked promising against the Eagles, then it wouldn't hurt so bad. Now we're no closer to knowing if he is the answer at quarterback this team so desperately needs. Even if he had good games against the Lions and Rams, it wouldn't really change the fact that he is still a huge question mark.
