... Darn it, this episode's ending really made my ears feel painful. Not literally so, but it feels queasy.

Aside from that, this was pretty much similar to episode 3 in terms of the storyboarding and direction, which means it was... okay, but the episode honestly lacked any tension or sense of danger during the action scenes.

wow this episode was really amazing, animation was great , at first was a little slow but after the epic church enter of touma it got very good, touma looked like "he" and im not fan of the new bgm but i quess it fits with the more magical plot now.

but theres a fail now, not only the wound of touma switched arms it also switched places(forearm to elbow) nothing that ruins the anime but point out the lack of attentionto detail.

We can change the vote counts, but because it's a public poll we can't change the number that your vote shows up next to (without resorting to database trickery, and I don't have access to that stuff, and don't really want to trouble the other admins just to fix a poll choice)... so I think it's not worth it.

"Spear girl's" appearance makes this instant 10 for me.

Nah, but seriously, the pacing didn't feel as weird this time, animation was better (except the failures mentioned above which I wouldn't have noticed without it having been mentioned) and new bgm is certainly a change of pace even if it depends on taste (and I personally like it).
Orsola beating could have been more brutal but getting to see her face and later on her wounds is convincing enough I guess.
Angelene was kawaii./weeaboo
Sheol Fear part was nice, but I would have preferred if Index' voice wasn't replaced by some actual choir.

Well, that scene certainly reminded me of those James Bond kamikazes where you go through a spam of whatever weapon and don't get hit once, and then finally escape without much effort.
But to say he's got wings? No way, that's the wrong character.

A certain spear girl's appearance made this episode a 10/10. Every episode she's in deserves nothing but perfection.

Holy crap that was creepy as hell. I mean damn....How they all could just stab themselves in the ears to avoid that attack is insane. Of course on the positive it frees them from listening to Touma's preaching . But really that was pretty disturbing. Well I suppose this level of fanaticism isn't that surprising, but still I didn't see that at all coming. Thought it'd be something more comical like dousing Index in Ink to stop her singing .

A really busy episode. The fighting is getting intense and now the deaf forces are on the move.

I quite liked most of the things that happened this episode.

Spoiler for episode 4:

I liked how Touma walked into the church where Orsola was. He should have pulled out some tommyguns and started shooting all the nuns. Whatever you complaint you have about Touma's ''preachiness"sometimes, at least he backs himself up and isn't afraid to punch or kick a bitch or two that gets in his way.

The importance of the cross was actually pretty cool. The whole "now she's under the protection of the Anglican church" thing.

Kaori turned out to be pretty unimportant despite all the "omg how is she going to react" everyone in the series was going.

woot @ Index being useful, and exploding the brains of all the nuns.

the ending of the episode was unexpected...the nuns are crazy...

I hate copyright protocol. It's not like they have the video on DVD yet anyways. Even then, there's no way someone in America would have any use for it when it's in Japanese.
