A relaunch project sounds like a positive start and a good news for us fans who've been waiting for a long time for something new

Just end it with an Anime Original Story... This would probably be the first time in the history of Anime that those words would be salvation rather than damnation.

Nice. Anime season 2. Make it 2-cour with anime only ending.
Since 12 episode was enough to cover 3 volumes, 24 episodes will be enough to cover the remaining episodes plus proper ending.

For relaunch, would that mean he re-writes all the novels from the beginning? Because as much as people complain about this series, would anybody be happy if Laura or Char were changed?

Though if they just made Ichika less oblivious it'd be all good.

The relaunch is for anime I think, but the news that Yumizuru is still allowed to write a short story about IS means that the rumored dispute is just rumor. This means, for better or worse, the only thing standing in the way of new IS novel is Yumizuru's author block(could also be read as laziness, depends on the circumstances

Manga is stopped at Gospel arc (I think) so it's the same as anime.

Yes, the novel are in the process of rewriting, how much difference with the original will prove Izuru's honesty (he always claim about dictatorial editor, so if there's not much difference... he's a liar)
