That's true, but I guess the reason it won't break things in the Hero Academia universe is that it costs way too much to produce.

On one hand, seeing All Might in action even without One for All is cool. On the other hand, I'm seriously worried he might die for real this time.
Oh, and if the author's goal was to make me care for Toga and feel sad for her death, he completely failed.

Once again, I was too preoccupied to comment earlier. Anyway, looks like AM's last stand is reaching its climax. This may truly be the end for him, this time.... but at least he's making damn sure he'll be going out with a bang, which hopefully won't fizzle out into a whimper....

Spoiler for 397: It's more of the fight, with All Might taunting and insulting AFO to make him lose his composure and get sloppy, as well as distract him from leaving. It sorta works, but he can't hold out for long; bit by bit, his power armor is starting to get broken by AFO's attacks. The final shot of the chapter... Well, to be honest, I always have trouble determining exactly what's going on in parts of this manga, due to a combination of the black & white color scheme and the art style. Sorry...

Just the fight continuing, and.... that's really it. I did like that we got to see what was apparently AM's first meeting with Nana, though. Actually, I wouldn't mind seeing a more fleshed out flashback of their history together, especially if this truly is Toshinori's last stand....

In addition to flashbacks of when Toshinori first met Nana Shimura, in the present All Might injects AFO with acid, forcing AFO to continuously Rewind himself, making him younger and speeding up his countdown to nonexistence. But All Might's taking damage, too, to his armor and body. Yet, knowing he's helping everyone appears to exhilarate him. At the end of the chapter, his and Midoriya's feelings appear to "reach" each other as both OFA users have their climactic clashes...

marvelB Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2005	And now a bump for this week's chapter: Spoiler for 399: As All Might evades AFO's attacks, he considers his next strategy. That being said, he sends off two robot birds to bring him a new weapon! As for AFO, he's caught on to AM's plan to kill him by speeding up the Rewind quirk, and responds by summoning more of his tendrils, then some monstrous mouths! As AM desperately avoids these deadly obstacles, he finds himself falling for the villain's trap.... as AFO suddenly appears, and lands a devastating blow on him! AFO scoffs at him, saying that his once bright light has extinguished.... but AM points a cannon in the villain's mouth and fires, saying he understands nothing. Even if one light goes out, that torch can still be passed on to others! And that's when we cut to.... AOYAMA. He's the last one standing against the villain Kunieda, who took out all the other surrounding heroes. Apparently, his quirk is to spread flower seeds that grow by absorbing human flesh and nutrients! Fat Gum, who was also weakened by the flowers, gives Aoyama his encouragement before passing out. The twinkling one thinks of his parents and friends, and says he's grateful that the villains consider him a traitor. He then blasts his belly laser, which seem to miss Kunieda.... except, they were aimed at Hagakure all along! She reflects the beams back at the villain, taking him down! Back to AM, it turns out what his birds fetched for him was also a laser weapon.... which he fires at AFO! He concludes his speech, saying that the next generation will be the ones to illuminate the darkness....!!!! Images Sorry; dynamic content not loaded. Reload?

marvelB Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2005	And now we come back from a break to the big four double-o: Spoiler for 400: After Kunieda is defeated, Aoyama notices that Hagakure is fully visible now..... in addition to being fully naked. Apparently, getting full of adrenaline may have caused her invisibility to briefly "glitch" on her. But there's no time to worry about that now, as Aoyama wants her to help him save the pro heroes from Kunieda's plants. He also says this is his duty on his final day as a UA student.... Back to All Might vs. AFO, the hero says he actually got the idea for using the laser weapon from Star and Stripe's battle against ShigAFO. He continues fighting, but both the suit and his original body get further destroyed. In a distant country, a boy and his grandmother watch the fight on TV. It seems their country is one that doesn't know of heroes, but the young lad is still captivated by watching AM fight, even in his current decrepit state.... Back to the fight, AFO emerges from AM's onslaught, now even younger than before! He prepares to make his next strike, when suddenly.... his body freezes in place! marvelB Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2005	A bump for the next chapter: Spoiler for 401: It's All Might and Stain vs. All For One! But first, we get a brief flashback of the (former?) hero killer making his way to the battlefield. On the way, he found a trail of blood that he followed, noting that it doesn't belong to AM. He wonders if his idol has found renewed purpose in his life now, thinking back to the speech he gave him in Kamino. But now, back to the present, the two of them charge at AFO while shouting, "I am here"! However, the villain was ready for them. He uses a combination of stolen quirks to release his own blood from his body, then modifies its composition.... which now renders him immune to Stain's quirk! He explains that he knew Stain would defy him one day, since he never joined him the night of the Tartarus prison break. So, he prepared the appropriate quirks to deal with him in advance! He then strikes back, summoning those strange heads to bite down on Stain, which ironically now leaves him a bloody mess.... Stain then gets thrown across the city, crashing into a game center! AFO catches up, intending to steal his quirk. He tells him that while he was instrumental in helping the league grow, his tale now ends here. Stain disagrees, once again touching upon how much he looks up to All Might, who's now rushing to his aid. But, before he can reach him, AFO lands one final crushing blow on him.... then aims for AM next. However, Hercules (his robot/AI companion) shields AM from the blast! Still, it's powerful enough to send him flying back, more broken than ever.... Suddenly, he sees both Nana and Nighteye. who encourage him to keep going. Though his suit and legs are totally busted now, he still hasn't died yet.... so he's indeed determined to fight on! However, yet another problem has arisen: Their fight has brought them quite close to the descending UA academy, meaning AFO is now close enough to warp himself to Shigaraki.....!!!!
