Episode 09 was everything i hoped it would be.

The fight scene between Saber & Assassin was amazing to watch, went on for a good lengh, also pack with new info' about the characters - shame it ending, but i must admit i liked the lil' twist that came to the fights end.

Saber teaching Shirou how to fight, i seen it coming really & i'm very happy for it. The flashbacks showing of Shirou's true nature was good as well, hopefully once seeing it, the Shirou haters shall understand what he really wants to do.

Ilya in episode 10... and her hugging Shirou ways, sure it shall be good - looking forward to seeing what Archer has to say to Shirou.

Well, I remember Rin saying that "Emiya is the 7th master" or something, but how is that possible if Caster, one of the 7 servants, is a master? Since that would make it 6 masters and 7 servants?

I was pretty happy with this episode, so I gave it an 8/10. Too bad we didn't get to see Saber put that super-looking move into action.
I thought Rin's expression when Shirou was carrying Saber back was hilarious. Such a little devil~

Can't wait for the next episode. And is that Shirou I see with some loli-action?

Hmm I'd venture a guess and say that since caster is technically a magician, that she could maybe obtain the command mantras somehow. Either that or Assasin's previous master lost his right to command Assasin and he made a contract with caster. Regardless, we'll probably find out later anyways

I can't wait to get off work to watch this episode (subbed of course), it looks awesome from the blog screens.

Rin definitely has the best lines in this episode..especially when she caught Shiro in act of carrying Saber...also when she mediated between Saber and Shiro.

Wow this ep was great. Loved every second of it. Saber was so damn cute when she was alseep, as was Rin when she caught Shirou trying to pick up Saber.

btw they really need to show Caster without the diabolical hood of insane evilness. She is too beautiful to have her face covered up.

Woke up to the nice present of ep 9, woo hoo finally get to see Assasin When I saw that fight in my mind I thought.......

Assasin = Sephiroh
Saber = Cloud in drag..... I was gonna do a parody of it but..... I dont think I can stomach doing that to Saber... maybe I will later if I can find some anime shots of Cloud....

There are no rules saying that a Servant cannot be a Master in their own right. Caster's a pretty good magician and she's got a mana pool big enough to support Asssasin; however, IIRC a Servant can't really summon another top-class Servant, so Assassin isn't very strong.


True Assassin, however... will probably not be shown in the anime. ;p

1. Episode 9, as subbed by Eclipse, is 35241 frames.
2. When an enemy reveals their name, it means it is for an honorable battle, or they plan to kill you, right there, right now.

The quality they put into this episode in those main fighting scenes was outstanding. Good stuff.

Ahh, ok. Still playing the game, although I haven't found time to do it lately, so I wasn't clear on their relationship. Silly me~! She's his kana mouto (errm, by blood?). Well, better move on from this before I have flashbacks from "Sister Princess".
