I'm a sucker when a mc goes to a new / other world and becomes quite the badass, specially if weapons like those guns grenades etc, in times like swords and magic stuff.

So with Serious shit, you mean gore? if its only a detailed explaining of how limbs or guts are squished I'm oke with it.

But if its about Rape / Slavery(Specially the female slaves getting the worse treatment) etc etc, and all those nasty stuff, then I might have to think about it.

Spoiler for My opinion:

I only read GT version up to the time MC was level 2 adventurer and i think around that time (i might be wrong as GT only gives me a vague idea on what happens) he was duped, guns stolen, he even taught the theives how to use the guns, and was sold to slavery. If you are looking for a real badass MC, i do not think this is a good web novel for you. I tried reading a dozen chapters after that incident but it seemed like the author took a break from the guns theme and had a string of chapters showing the daily life of MC as a slave and no mention or progress at all about guns.(a chapter on how he made pancakes, a chapter on other food he made and his relationship with his owners, etc. It got so frustrating (adding to the fact that i cannot understand GT very much) that i quit reading and just wait to read again if translators pick it up.

Yeah he got sold to a powerfull A class magician vampire who was looking for a young maid for his introverted daughter basicly because of the long trip and unfortune circumstances they were kept in he got really slim his hair got long and was mistaken for a girl which the daughter saw through instantly because she's got "damn" good eyesight they bond and they live happily everafter..... No just kidding the vampire master's older brothers attack and while the master and the personel are oppening can of whoop asses they get betray by the most unexpected person, the chief of security, basicly head buttler goes back to mansion gets Luke to take the daughter to safety through a secret passege and the daugter woes that she will return strong to free her mother and father who were taken captive.
If you want more spoilers then ask but i can tell you a little bit after that since i stopped because i wanted to catch up with 異世界来ちゃったけど帰り道何処？ and irl stuff wouldn't let me read.

After that they hear from the slave trader who sold luke to the vampire lord that in the dragon continent a famous magic stone researcher got her hand on his weapons and she would reward anyone with new info so Luke asks the slave trader to get them to the dragon continent because the brothers are after them still and the slave trader is on board because he can get a lot of money because luke was the actual inventor. The magic researcher was no ordenary researcher she was the princess of the dragon continent and was haild to be a genius on utilizing magic stone for example no one could get to diferent magic stone to work in a sword but she could do it. Basicly she got her hands on Luke's revolver from a merchant who bought it from the thiefs he showed it the princess and was fascinated by it she paid the merchant and studied it with great zheal but couldn't replicate it. She couldn't believe that the gun was made out of liquid metal (you can shape anything from it with magic but you need a VERY clear imagie or otherwise itt will be crooked, bent and misshaped but the most problematic is that it's brittle later they get know that depending how much magic you use it can be hard as stainless steel or brittle as coal too little it will not shape too much it becomes brittle) because not even the dwarfes could replicate the craftmanship so after that she wanted to search for the creator of the gun but she hears he is dead (utterly lie by the thiefs) but she finds his ak-47 and is bewildered again how he could create the guns she gets depressed really by this because the dragon tribe got a lot of pride and she drinks away the sadness and becomes a hikikomori a lot of people says that she isn't the genius anymore but she finds a new way to utillize magic stones taken from how the gun chamber directs the guns explosion to fire the bullet. They praise her as a genius again but in her heart she feels inferior to luke because she just copied his idea.She gets in trouble with Snow Luke's childhood friend and fiancée saying that Luke is dead to her face trying to get her gun and got almost shot. She gets a visit by a slave trader saying he brought Luke the inventor of the guns but she lost hope and tought again someone trying to get the reward for it she shows the "Luke" some of the fake guns and asks him which is the real one "Luke" says all the mistakes for the "guns" and asks if she even has the guns this shocks her and asks again that he is the real Luke and asks why they come after Luke gets her to stand up because she got on her knees to worship him.She listens and they start to plan how to get the mansion and the vampire daughters mother and father back. Luke creates a sniper rifle for the daughter. Snow joins for the training because she was curious what happend to luke and smelled familiar scent on the dragon continent (smell fetish). They go back to the mansion saw the mother the father was sold as a slave to the demon continent while they they were escaping the chief of security came after them and the daughter showed how frightening a sniper is a bit of explanation anyone that can use magic can see further like a scope but it leaves them detectable (they were fighting in the night) but was a vampire so they can naturely see in the dark and she shot a gigantic bat from the sky with no magic used with a bow and arrow from hundreds of meters away dead in the eye. She even shot a guy multiple times that she can kill them very easely while hummin the Rifle's creed. After that they confrented the brothers and showed that she can shoot a persons limbs and head of a 1km away and they slyly told them that there family's could be targets the brothers aren't strong.

this is the point where i stopped reluctantly but sometimes a took a glimpse in it and found itt was quite interesting from here on out i'll defenetly start reading it again after i finish that I'm currently reading

MC in this one pretty much isn't the bad ass type. At all. He's pretty weak in general so far depending heavily on making use of skills and tools.

On the other hand, he's made better use of other world knowledge and skills than I've seen of anyone in other isekai series until now. Basically inventing all sorts of things, though I wish he'd invent more.

Making use of skills he survives the slave stuff, volume 3 was kind of painfully long on that end, but after we get to volume 4 it's kind of like volume 9-11 of mushoku tensei.

Relationships are pretty solid and actually fulfilled, time spent developing/re-inventing things and better weapons. Food, sex lotion, a bidet....

Though it's about time he starts putting them more to use, which seems likely in the latter half of volume 4.

A bit rough but proving interesting so far as long as you can survive volume 3. Hoping to see larger arms in future chapters, not sure what kind of weapon he'll make next.

I don't think it's specifically new, just syosetsuka fanfic like web novels are gaining popularity because they seem to be getting published here and there more now.

Kind of like Re:Monster some of them suddenly end up with an interesting manga out of nowhere. Gate, World Custom Creator, if you look at some of the monthly release mangas lately a lot of them have web novel origin.


And just in general there seems to be an overwhelming number of isekai reincarnation based series on syosetsuka. I guess people just want to re-do their lives that much in general.


I'm into volume 5 of this now, volume 4 was good and hes making more weapons that I was hoping for so its still going good. Still an enjoyable series with some rough spots.
