Personally I try to have my big mouth shut as much as I could(xcept for fangirl complaints) because seriously, Kaiji is just one of those animes you have to look forward to and wonder.

Episode7 was just so amazing execution and presentation-wise. And the new musics' nice too. Although I consider all of the Kaiji episodes good, this one I think I enjoyed the most so far.

Because they are gone now. I've spoilered myself a bit before so it at least wasn't a big deal for me personally in case Malintex is worried now. And "These" -> "Please" in my post of course. Damn, I didn't sleep enough last night.

The nice boat arc is now coming to an end and about one third of the series is over. I'm wondering if we'll see 3-4 equally long arcs or shorter subplots from now on, and if they'll be in almost real time, too. I enjoyed that feature.

Episode 8

Just saw eight. Pretty damn awesome...

Wasn't as flipped out as it was in the manga, leaving out a few scenes, but I've been surprised at how well the anime has been capturing the flavour of the original story. Lets hope they keep up the good work!

Personally I was little disappointed Kaiji didn't scream out the line made famous in the manga...

Spoiler for probably episode 9:

...ah well, it's only a small gripe really..

It wasn't yet time for Kaiji to spit out that line. He'll say it in episode 9 for sure. They can't leave that out.. it's one of the best lines...!

Contains spoilers for ep8, perhaps even 9, so I'll cover it up just in case.

Well like I said, I got a bit confused since I saw screenshots from eight and thought they were from seven, which I was in the process of watching. So, my apologies for being a tad careless.

From what I've read, the second arc has multiple games, but the third is probably just the one.

Thanks for reminder! I'd forgotten exactly where he said it in the manga....

Now I have one more reason to look forward to next weeks show!

Mistake in Triad's sub, I think - it was the scissors that were short, not the paper/rock. Makes more sense actually.

Episode 7 is awesome. Ok, all episodes in this anime are awsomes ! I'm a big fan of Akagi(in fact, the word fangirl is a bit more appropriate ) and of kaiji as well. Fukumoto works seems to be pretty good. To bad, i don't know his others mangas because i can't read japanese !!!
I think episode 8 will be also a pretty good one, i'm curious to know how Kaiji will defeat Funai.

I've found this funny video :

I think my soul just died that little bit more T_T

Kaiji had a somewhat weak start, but I think it's really coming into its own as the series progresses. I'm looking forward to all the pain and suffering to come, haha

That was the weak part.

You're stronger now, and better off without it.

Kaiji is still too naive

did he forget he was once scammed by funai?
did he forget that betrayer once tried his luck and lost it?
