If you look carefully at the bottom left corner of each panel you'll see some Nordic runes, which supposedly translates into: sea, son, two.

There was a special event today live streamed on youtube and despite showing a character from the next part of the manga there was no season two announcement. Guess we have to wait a bit longer for it.

Yes, that was a disappointment. There is an English statement from Yabuta at the end, where he says that “we can’t say anything officially yet”, and that there have been some delays the staff is working to address. It definitely sounds like it’s in the works, but in the current environment I certainly wouldn’t take anything for granted.
