As usual, credit goes to AP's Redon and co. for initial info:

-Chapter title is "Anarchy in the Big Mom". Splash features Sanji and Zoro.

-Ulti recovers from Nami's attack. The navigator follows up with a Tornado Tempo, but the enemy pirate dodges, and prepares to counterattack! However, before her blow can land, Big Mom suddenly steps in, and launches a combo attack using Prometheus, Napoleon, and her newest homie, Hera!!! The Maser Cannon (apparently based on this weapon from Godzilla films) blasts a hole through Ulti, instantly taking her down!!!

-After the attack, Napoleon and Prometheus praise Hera's usefulness. We also learn that Prometheus requested Hera's creation for one reason only: To have a girlfriend. However, she doesn't really care about him and only follows BM's orders. Nami spots Zeus hiding nearby, but ignores him for his early betrayal. BM sees him as well, which makes him come out and apologize. However, she flat-out tells him that she doesn't need him anymore. Even worse, she tells Hera to EAT him, so she can become stronger! The lady cloud takes a bite out of the distraught Zeus, while Napoleon and Prometheus berate him for his uselessness! As she starts chasing the group again, BM takes Tama, telling her that she shouldn't hang around "bad" pirates like the Straw-Hats. As for Zeus, while he's being chased by Hera, he he apologizes to Nami for his earlier betrayal. He knows she treated him well, but he was too cowardly to turn against BM.... until now. He tells Nami to run while he deals with BM, but the empress quickly puts a stop to his rebellion! What's more, she begins extracting his soul! Nami, feeling pity towards the cloud, produces some Black Balls for him to consume, but it's no good.... he's too weakened to eat them. Instead, they're gobbled up by Hera, who munches up Zeus, as well! When Linlin sees Tama running with Nami's group, she gets further enraged, saying she hates those who try to leave her side.... and swears to kill her, as well! Just as things start to turn grim, Kid suddenly appears, who launches his Punk Gibson attack on Big Mom!

-Back on the roof, Kaidou (in human form) is alone again. He says the end result of the battle was obvious, but his excitement made him careless. He should have ended things sooner by beheading Luffy, so that there would have been no lingering doubts as to who would emerge victorious. But now, an unconscious Luffy has fallen off the island, plummeting towards the sea below.....!!!!!

So, to add my two cents on the spoiler: While it sucks that it looks like Oda blue balled us on Nami vs. Ulti, I think I can see what he's going for here: It's looking like we'll see Nami and Usopp team up with some supernovas to take on BM in another team battle. Kid's already there, and don't forget we learned just last chapter that Law was hunting down the empress, as well. Perhaps if Tama also succeeds in rallying all the Gifters together, we may have a formidable enough force to topple Linlin once and for all..... oh, and of course, Zeus shouldn't be denied some payback, as well!

As for Luffy, no doubt he'll eventually be saved, probably by Marco, I guess (I already pointed out before that these "time-outs" between rounds are a pretty consistent pattern throughout the series). Anyway, I think it's pretty much guaranteed that Yamato will be Kaidou's next challenger until Luffy recovers. She specifically asked about his condition last chapter, so there's no doubt she's headed for the roof. Now it's time for her to prove to her old man how much she's grown.....

Yeah, Nami being denied a proper battle against Ulti is disappointing. But if it leads to her going up against Big Mom with the help of Zeus, it might be for the best. As for Usopp, I think he's more likely to escort Tama to the performance floor than to go up against an Emperor. Honestly, he's not strong enough to make a difference there.

Frustrating spoilers.
The 5th time Luffy ended up losing vs a yonko in just this arc alone. It's just tiring and a waste of panel time at this point. This arc is already longer than the whole of East Blue and there's still no sign of it ending anytime soon.
Nami setup from last chapter already nullified again.
The flying 6 are down to 50% and none of it was the SHPs doing.

This arc is like watching Windows XP copying a folder with the progress bar contantly setting back.

It's goes to show you that Luffy is not ready to fight a Yonkai, he's needs more experiences.

Talk about hyperbole.

As disappointing as it is not seeing Nami fight Ulti properly, why is everyone under the impression that Ulti and Page One are down for the count for the rest of the battle? We are still in Act 3. We still have another action packed arc left to go after this.

Five losses? This should be the THIRD time Kaidou's KO'd Luffy by my count (no, I don't count his G4 cool down as a "loss"). But hey, maybe our rubber friend really will break his record this arc for number of rounds, eh?

If this were strictly a solo affair from the start, then yes, I'd 100% agree that Luffy stands no chance against Kaidou. But thanks to all the constant team efforts, the emperor IS being worn down, little by little. He just needs to get softened up a tad more before Luffy takes him down in one final push.... and I think Yamato can help with that. It's interesting too, because a popular theory going around is that Kaidou's offspring may possess the White Tiger mythical Zoan..... and those familiar with Asian culture may recall that the tiger and dragon are diametrically opposed to each other. So could we be seeing a clash between White and Azure within the next few chapters?!

Oh, and it's kinda funny to think that Big Mom basically allows incest between her homies, heh. I mean, isn't Hera technically Prometheus's sister? But then again, inbreeding actually was a pretty common occurrence among the Greek/Roman deities, so maybe this isn't so weird, after all. Nonetheless, it still sucks that Linlin threw away Zeus in favor of Prometheus's horniness.

^ Actually, aren't all three of them part of Linlin's soul? Then that would make them, ah... *closer* than siblings.

Because Ulti and Page One coming back would just be a waste of time. Not to mention they've had the most panel time out of all the Flying Six in this arc, so it's not like they were neglected.

#1 got KOed by Kaido in act 1, #2 tried to stand up vs BM in Udon but had to run away when he failed, #3 G4 ran out and he was unable to fight, #4 KO by Ragnarök attack, #5 this spoiler.

If you ask me, getting one-shot by Big Mom and then playing no part for the rest of the arc is major neglect.

While I agree that Ulti and Page One have had the most panel time, they still haven't done anything substantial. Until they get a climactic 1v1 or 2v2 against the Straw Hats, I'm not counting them out.

Right now, the Wano Arc is in its most chaotic and unpredictable phase. There's still some major events yet to occur before Act 3 ends and the battle shifts towards it climax in Act 4 (hell, remember that the Big Mom Pirates are lying in wait). Its either there are focused fights between the Straw Hats and the All-Stars/Tobi Roppo leading up to Act 4; or from the start of Act 4 onwards.

*Shrug* Again, I really only count the KOs as "legit" losses. Luffy was in the middle of training anyway as far as Udon was concerned, and I already pointed out that, up until two chapters ago, he wasn't fighting alone during the Kaidou rematch. And the funny thing is, despite the beatings he took until then, he still looked in better shape than Zoro, who literally tanked a combined attack from both emperors. Can't be too sure about the rubber dude's current condition until pics arrive, though.

BTW, out of curiosity.... do you count Luffy's G4 cool down against Doflamingo and Katakuri as 'losses", too? Because I don't think I've seen anyone else who has....

Only provided insight on how I got to 5 defeats ince 2 people addressed it. I'm not trying to convince anyone.

As for your question I'll go by memory without looking through the chapters,
I'ld say no vs Doflamingo. Iirc Luffy said something like he could have run from Doffy on his own while recharging.
No loss vs Katakuri either as far as I remember. He was just trapped before the face reveal and freed himself. When he took Brulee and hid outside, he also did it to let Katakuri recharge his Haki to beat him at his best.

The scene at the roof top with G4 running out was different compared to Doflamingo. Here he needed help directly, otherwise BMs attack would have connected.
Also the running at Udon was a different situation. here he avoided the fight by running after the first clash. I don't remember a panel in Udon in which it was shown that he had the intention to defeat BM at that point. unlike with the Katakuri break.

Summary updated! Damn, Ulti may really be out of action at this point if she got a freaking hole blasted through her guts. Also, I guess this is the end of BM's friendship with Tama..... so much for that "mother mode", I guess. And I guess I should say RIP to Zeus, as well.... unless, he somehow manages to wrestle control of Hera from within her. Still, wild stuff's going on all around BM, isn't it? The chapter title is appropriate, indeed.

Actually, it was Oda himself who confirmed in an SBS that Luffy could have toppled Dofla without outside help. Still, that always did make me curious as to whether or not he could have handled Burgess without Sabo's intervention.....?

Big Mom certainly has a big ego when it comes to the friends she makes. And Luffy has lost just HOW MANY TIMES?

You can't expect for Luffy to win all the time. What he's facing now is the World's Strongest Creature. A single fight is not going to defeat Kaido. It needs multiple engagements to defeat him.

Not to mention if the war drags out, Marines probably could be dispatched sooner than expected. This is just the opening war, after all, and I don't expect it will end in just a single day.

Just like those multiple engagements with Sir Crocodile and Rob Lucci. That I can get behind. 😎

Yeah, Luffy is climbing the mountain. He's not at the top yet, but he's getting there.

I know it wont happen, but I really do want Kidd to destroy Big Mom here and now, he was eating dirt for FAR too long getting his ass kicked by everyone possible.
