Seinen? ^_^;

To be honest, I fail to see what's seinen about it, since it doesn't show any TRACES of fanservice, excessive violence or other mature issues... but alas. It's still a very enjoyable and very CLEAN show so far.

Even if it's in a mag aimed for young men. Young men also enjoy the good clean fun stuff. It's a good manga so far next to the fact that fat kid makes meh jelous. D:

I'll never forget the famous "Fuzakennaaaaa!!" panel when MiyaMiya was introduced. A classic!

It doesn't have to have any fanservice, nor any excessive violence, nor any mature issues to be seinen.
seinen manga are manga serialized in seinen magazines.

Seinen does not necessarily equal violence or swearing or sex. For example, the manga versions of Azumanga Daioh, Ichigo Mashimaro, and Kamichu! are seinen titles becuase they are all published in a seinen magazine.

I'm not a big fan of "sports" anime but the kendo thing kind of caught my attention and I was going to give this series a try. Now, the more I hear about it, the more interested I become. I'm really looking forward to Bamboo Blade now.

And titles like MPD Psyco or NHK ni Yookoso are considered Shonen, Death Note was published in the same Magazine with Naruto&Co... It's just a "target" and can drastically change from magazine (or publisher) to magazine.

There's not only a guy. It's certainly a bishojo anime (so focused on the girls) but there is a significant male representation. And it's really not an harem anime so it's better to not expect something in that way.

At first I that's who I thought I was looking at, honestly. I was like, "What's Nodoka doing in this? Did I miss something?"

Man! Tama-chan doesn't look like the one in the manga. They should have used darker/dark colors on her instead. Plus her face is kinda wierd.
