That is the original tempo. I learned my lesson with that second melody so I always create hint #4 (and mix the melody with the backing track) before I create the other hints.

Without this guys weird voice or the backing track I don't think anyone is going to be able to guess this. The vocal part consists mainly of a lot of repeated notes and speech-like singing without any real distinct melody. He does a strange thing with his singing also, sort of like he is hoarse (or smoked too much) which makes it sound completely different from my vocaloid's singing.

He isn't really weird per say (I was exaggerating a bit I suppose); he sings sort of like L'Arc-en-Ciel if you know who that is.

...and guuchan was able to figure it out so I guess I didn't mess up transcribing too badly. I guess you can take this one if no one guesses it by hint #4 (or whenever) guuchan.

I always feel tone deaf when trying to transcribe these sorts of songs...

Next one is one of my all-time favorite anime songs. I listen to it at least once everyday on my way back from work. Along with Love Hina's Yakusoku, its one of my top twelve jap songs played in my CD player (yes MP3 player is out of reach back then and Zard's My Friend, even the infamous Cruel Angel's Thesis is not yet on my favorites since I didn't get a chance to get a full version of it. And "Dakishimetai" happens to be the only common song of that CD of yours and my mp3 player songlist. What a coincidence.

Erm, shouldn't the voice be female instead? This is misleading.

If I'm right, that singer performed the OPs and EDs of all the episodes of the show except one OP and one ED, which were both performed by another person.

I guess guuchan's age is around 23~25, and you really have a wide range of anime music songs at your disposal. I thought that show would have a second season (A heroine/hero lookalike of the heroine/hero of the first season) with the new opening and ending when I watched it back then, but its act like an extra episode instead. The last song that singer sang as a soloist was a opening/ending theme in an anime theme with card games.
