For some reason after seeing the chara designs I am reminded of Tsuritama....

Looks promising. I'm up for a show with a largely adult cast set in an everyday working environment. If they don't let the kids hog too much of the limelight & don't let the fantasy element get out of control this could be an entertaining soap opera.

Unless Ono can do a woman's voice.

Maybe the character has a deep voice, plus it's a woman's name.

Probably. The way he happens to be a trap reminds me of someone from UtaPri.

After watching Chuuninbyou, I think that's the last thing I would want to see from this show.

It really looks like a family show of sorts.

Going to confess a screwup on my part here. Tamako, Midori, and Kanna all are in the Baton Club, not the Badminton Club. Animax's summary was incorrect and I quickly read over the club in future readings. I'll edit in the correct stuff for the character posts.

Some of the hair styles of the elder folks remind me of dragonball, namely Mr. and Mrs. Briefs

I had no plans to see this show until I see that Ono's possibly playing a trap.

That alone is worth it.

This is going to be long and the tl;dr tags don't work, so I'm placing it in spoilers since it's about the series anyways. Here's the long conversation between Supervisor Naoko Yamada and Series Composer Reiko Yoshida published in the latest Animage.

TL;DR…

That is indeed a very long conversation. Thank you very much for translating this, and in general for everything you do to bring all these things to us Japanese-illiterate fans
I guess this doesn't count for much, so instead I'll read the interview.
