We have another episode of set-up, but as always, it's great set up.
If anything, this episode did two thing. It did set up for one day Tekkadan to split from Teiwaz, but also it pretty much solidified that Macky is pretty much going to keep his word with this deal in giving control of Mars to Tekkadan.
Tekkadan is finding itself rising high through the ranks at such a rapid pace, it's beginning to get dizzying for it's young leadership crew. Orga's head is swimming with all the new responsibility that he has. But he's never one to back down. Tekkadan is growing with both arms and members, and I can already see this increase causing other groups, including Rustal's to come after them. Especially after he was talking about colonies uprising and gaining arms. It wouldn't be hard to set up Tekkadan as a supplier, especially after last time they were in Dort.
As for Naze and the Turbines, Naze has actually had a huge death flag over him for awhile. He's almost finished serving his purpose in the plot, in helping Orga grow more and more as a leader. The way it's set up, I'm thinking Naze and Almira are going to sacrifice their lives to save Tekkadan/Orga is some way. The way he said all that about not sticking his neck out for them anymore, makes me think that he will actually do so one last time, but it will cost him his life.
I have this feeling that while Orga and co will try to do their best, Mr. Loud Leopard Coat Sexist, is going screw it all up somehow. He just can't stop putting them down every chance he gets, and you know what happens to adults who underestimate Tekkadan and then try to screw with them. I have a feeling Jasley is going to be joining Radice sooner than later.
As for Vidar, his Gundam is indeed elegant, though we'll have to really judge it's power against some fighters who can actually
fight. I mean, I never really cared for rapiers as a weapon, It's great for an aristocratic duel, but I just can't see them working that well against brawlers that don't hold back like Mika and Akihiro.
Oh and yeah, the mech is totally Ein. The way Gaelio keeps talking to it, and how Graze Ein's theme flared up, as well as those creepy red and black boxes all but confirm it.
I'm concerned about Orga going out there fighting, though I honestly doubt he will. It will probably be similar to how he using a mobile worker to lead while one the battlefield, except in mech form. Or at least I hope that's what it's for....
Last is we get an even bigger idea of how much Agnika meant to McGillis, and his story of those from the bottom being able to climb to the top and make a world for themselves, inspired him and saved him from depression and suicide as a kid. I can see now why Tekkadan reminds him of the legend. I really hope we get to find out the whole story of this man.
Next week we see that McGillis once again comes to Mars, it this time it looks like Iok is there too?! What's going to happen this time? Hmmm.
EDIT: Totally forgot about Oji-san and Merribit. They're cute. I guess the small amount of good adults have to stick together.
And Hush is becoming just
too adorable now. He's going to drive a loner like Mika crazy.
but no I'm wondering did Mika just raise his death flag in this episode ? and if he dose die will Vidar be the one that going to Kill him ? if so will that make Hush..........................................THE NEW MAIN CHARACTER ?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( just came to that realisation) wait if that the case this explains the last few episodes now.
