Daryl's not going to die. He's too much of a fan favourite to die (so soon). Merle will get them out of Woodbury, and they'll head back to the Prison...which is all part of the Governor's plan.

I'd call it refreshing.
White guy + asian girl is usually the norm, people seem to have trouble picturing asian males in these roles.

Man, I just watched this series up to s2 ep9. Gosh, do all the characters have to be so...facepalm-worthy =02? I don't think I've ever watched a series where I dislike so many of the characters. The only ones I like consistently are Darryl and Glenn. Darryl is just badass and, despite his tsun attitude, reasonable, and Glenn is, well, well-rounded. And Maggie is kinda cute. Carol is useless, Lori and Andrea are scheming whores, Rick is far too righteous(the most extremely annoying char thus far), Shane's a loaded cannon, the black guy is practically useless, and Dave is too soft and overprotective of Andrea

. If I hadn't invested so much time into the series, I'd want to give it up.

Damn what a good episode. Hell, it's pretty much perfect. Episode 12 of Season 3 just might be the best episode of the entire series. The story is stripped to the barest bones as Rick, Michonne and Carl all head back to Rick and Carl's home town in hope of looking for some guns and ammo needed to fight the Governor. There are no cutaways to the prison and Merle's constant douchebaggery, Woodbury or the Governor, not even the ever-stupid Andrea. Just three characters looking for supplies at the end of the world. And it is perfect, especially what they find once they get back to Rick and Carl's hometown (I won't give anything away since I don't want to use spoiler tags). Great character development and drama, wonderful pacing, great action, some true tension, and even humour abound. Walking Dead has never been so good. 90/100.
