It doesn't actually say noitaminA in the magazine though. That's conjecture by the Japanese blog. ANN has crappy reporting. I don't think it is unlikely to be noitaminA, but it's just not factually confirmed in the actual source we have here.

Edit: Further news seems to indicate this is completely fake. The author of the books says he knows nothing about this at all.

It basically just says what you expect: that the news that the work is getting an anime adaptation is fake, and the author doesn't know anything about it. That it was a big surprise to the author, and must be some sort of joke. It's a very clear and unambiguous denial.

I was looking at a listing of summer series and this caught my eye:

I think the new AB project is that VN Jun Maeda has been working for a while now. I really doubt it will be a second season.

It seems that the To Love-Ru Darkness anime was announced today (in this month's Jump SQ magazine). Apparently the key staff from the second series are coming back to direct and produce. For the moment it's on Twitter and Japanese news blogs (like here, and here (NSFW ads)).

Edit: It was pointed out that the announcement doesn't specify if it's a TV Series or OVA/OADs. With this franchise, I suppose either is readily possible.

I am suspecting a TV series with 12 episodes. The manga has enough materials for that.
