The Witch and the Beast manga is getting an anime adaptation.

Plot Summary/Premise

Well, interesting first episode. Seems they are going with a true "most witches are evil" vibe, so this ain't going to be Witch Hunter Robin.

So-so, I'm glad that the guy is there to be a peacemaker. Characters so hot blooded like guideau... I'm not a big fan.

It's a faithful adaptation, I'll give it that. I just wasn't that impressed with the series' overall composition.

Yeah that first episode was just painfully bland and I'm not a fan of Morikawa in the lead role. I might give it another episode but its more likely just a drop.

Yeah, this is pretty much why I dropped the manga. I couldn't stand the female lead.

It wasn't necessarily bad and a lot less emo than Hametsu, but the story itself wasn't too interesting. At this point, it just seems to be another monster-of-the-week fighting thing, with the protagonist able to defeat the enemy immediately once they unleash their true power... by getting close enough for a kiss? Been there, done that. In the end, not much follow-up on the fire that seemed to kill a lot of people and everyone's limbs were... healed by magic, I guess? Despite being gruesome, not actually that much damage done in the end I guess the overall age of the characters being pretty high (appearance-wise) is the most unique part compared to similar anime shrug __________________ -Blog --> http://tdnshumi.blogspot.com/ (Mainly about video games) -R.I.P.
