I think that's REALLY dumb. Not only does she seem to have two jumps (and an air dash apparently), she can activate metaworld in the air? waaaaaaaat

For those who are wondering about Bern's ability:
-from some calculations with the video, it seems her ability literally -doubles- the Meta World duration.
-Her ability increases the speed of the meta gauge regeneration as well.

So no, her ability is no way useless outside of meta world. To the contrary, she will definitely be a giant boost for meta dependant characters.

Another point that can break or make her normal moves though: -any- attack stops the kakera timer (roughly 1.5 sec), whatever it is. Therefore, her kakera spawning timer starts/resumes only when she stop attacking (no resets, so it seems that if you attack at 1sec, you will wait only 0.5 sec but only when you are back to neutral, so when your move recovery is complete) . It will probably works if she is guarding.
For some reason though, spamming her kakera without any stock literally prevents the Kakera spawn timer to go off (which is probably because of the recovery time still being roughly the same).

20 seconds seem alot, but about right I guess, I thought it would be 15 or something close to it. Also, faster meta regen?

Considering the speed of the gauge, I would rather say 16 seconds (the regular duration is 8, not 10, just checked on OMKC), hence why I said "literally double".
The regen was mentioned on her character sheet, but there is no indication how fast the meta gauge regen, so.

will's is a one shot skill, bern's skill works better with character that have effect skills, like virgilia or battler.

I wanted her with a better speed in her Stakes Summoning. Ange is one of my favorite characters, but I can't even play with her because she sucks. I can defeat bots with a LamEnj team, but I can't even touch my friends with her.

But changing topics: I played with my friend via netplay using "doppelganger" team cheating. It worked perfectly.

If only you use this cheat, it'll be alright. But if you and your friend use this cheat....... It'll be alright too!

It's a secret boss thing the game throws at you at the end of the arcade mode in the Hard difficulty. You fight two Black Battler with buffed stats and bunch of passives and get only one attempt to do so each run.
