Seconded.

Does this include the part in the I think the novel following Vanishment where he goes back in time again to save himself to settle the timeline?

^^^As relentlessflame posted in the spoiler thread:
Quote:
This is a thread where novel-readers can safely discuss any and all things novel-related as is pertains specifically to the upcoming Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya Movie.

For general purpose information about the movie, or discussion that is not related to the novels, please use the general Disappearance Movie Thread.
I've been searching through some of the Japanese stuff and I can't find any hint of a camrip. I think it's just pictures of the film bookmarks since there's been an absolute ton posted from 2ch. Granted 2ch's anime board is down, so that could prevent much from being said.

Edit: As for some news in this thread rather than speculation, Eiga has posted that the Haruhi movie is within reach of breaking the 500,000,000 yen mark with still only showings in the 24 theatres thanks to this week. The movie went to 6th, 11th, 12th and now 9th on its rankings.

I do agree with you that the images are from the film bookmarks

Why must it be a futile dream?!
Spoiler for ...:
Well, for you it's not futile dream but for me yes. I'm still studying at school and of course I don't work. And now I'm learning to drive to get driver license(last FRIDAY I turned 18 years old). It's really not good time for me to go to JP just to watch movie.

It is obviously fake and trolling. The point is to make people click on that link, not to get picked as the best answer. Nobody has a camrip and one would hope that one doesn't appear.

For this weekend, the Haruhi movie brought in 58,954,780 yen with a per screen average of 2,456,475 yen. It was an increase of 47.5% from the prior weekend. Total amount so far is 4,445,780,016 yen (just over $5,000,000 USD) in four weekends. This was good enough to place 6th on the box office earnings chart this week, up from 11th the past week.

By the way, this is just a Public Service Announcement. You are not allowed to post, request, link to, or otherwise discuss where to find raws/camrips, if they exist. You are not allowed to request people send you the link(s) in PM. In fact, you are not allowed to discuss it in PM either (though of course we don't go snooping through people's PM boxes, but we can still ban people if it's obvious they're skirting the forum rules through PM).

I would encourage people to edit/delete their posts, and refrain in such discussion in the future. Please use the Report Post button to report any such requests going forward, and posts will be deleted and warnings/infractions issued. I didn't want to just go on a ban spree this time without posting this PSA first, but as a Mod I've agreed to deal with any violations I see...

Anyway, thanks for your understanding in this matter, and now back to your regularly-scheduled discussion.

My bad. I shouldn't have started talking about that. Thanks for the reminder
I've removed the inappropriate materials from my own posts

That's great! Hope the sales can keep up (or more realistically, don't fall off too quickly)

Know what you mean man... if Achakura Asakura Ryouko was an entry in the dictionary, it would say "cute and scary"

So has anyone heard of any CONFIRMED screenings outside Japan?
Gonna be in Hong Kong and Japan for a while in June... I very much doubt Hong Kong will get it THAT soon, if at all, but I can still cross my fingers and hope that at least SOME cinemas in Japan will still have it

EDIT: @Mods: Feel free to delete the first half of this post if you feel I'm over stepping on dangerous territory.

The only confirmed screenings outside of Japan currently are in Taiwan and there is not a set date for those. There are screenings planned at 2 of the United Cinemas in Niigata and Ishikawa in May that may last until June, but there are many more that are not listed as having a date yet, so I shall try and keep this thread informed when they are listed.
