Official US and EU release date, Box Art and Pre-order bonus have been announced.

For US

Quote:
Soul Sacrifice for PS Vita launches in stores and via PlayStation Network on April 30th, 2013. As for the box art, it is essentially the same as that which Japanese fans will proudly display on their shelves (or pedestals, if you’re a pedestal kind of person)
US Box Art

For Europe

Quote:
Soul Sacrifice for PS Vita launches in stores and via PlayStation Network across Europe on 1st May 2013! We’re not quite ready to reveal our final box art just yet, but rest assured that the studio is working on something really epic that we look forward to sharing with you very soon!

Reserve Soul Sacrifice and, in addition to the in-game costume & item bundle, you’ll also receive the Japanese voice-over pack for free. This pack will be sold separately, but the only way to get it right at launch for no added cost is to pre-order!
OK I love this game and all but this pre-order bullshit is getting out of hand.

It's not that I have a problem with japanese tracks being paid DLC. I actually wish that more companies would offer them if there is no other way. It's them being pre-order bonuses that I personally have a problem with.

Sorry I am not sure. They have not specified this. Aram commented that the bonuses aren’t necessarily only for retail but didn't say if you could pre-order the digital version or not.

They wrote that more updates will soon follow so we should get an answer for that.

Why? If you're ok with they being paid DLC, then isn't it a good thing that people who are pre-ordering are given those "paid DLC" as a bonus for pre-ordering?

Because I just don't want to see it becoming a trend where publishers start charging for dual audio under the excuse that you still can get it for free if you pre-order. It's nice that it's free for those that pre-order but what if you can't pre-order or don't want to? I don't want to imagine niche publishers doing this. Japanese tracks is not something that should be a pre-order bonus imo.

I know I am being pessimistic and all but I just don't like this. I can see why others have no problem with this.

Being an Asian has finally paid off!

...too bad there's no reason for it in this title =_=

If it was tales or persona then it's different story....
