Nope. ABT didn't like the reveal that Yui and Yuuya were siblings so in the Comet-verse, they are not related. (Hooray to the Yuiya fans!)

On the subject of whether Yuuya or Yui are related, I personally hold that they're related but ship them together for COMEDY DRAMA and Lulz and because that just makes the pairing kinkier.

Having said that I have noted in the Discussion Thread how I do not consider Heineman to be a reliable witness.

Anyway, while talking with Sasahara17 and AMT, the idea of Muv-Luv/XCOM fusion was kicked about. This inspired me to write this particular bit of madness.

Setting is more or less XCOM: Enemy Unknown but with Muv-Luv cast.

Takamura Yui was not having a good day.

So yeah, two weeks ago she'd been a rookie beat cop in Kyoto, she'd just graduated the Academy, she was on her first assignment, riding patrol with her partner, best friend and rival Yamashiro Kazusa when a disturbance had been announced and they'd run smack dab into aliens. Now, while Yui may have been a stereotypical yamato nadeshiko ojou-sama descendant of samurai nobility (with the old money that entailed), she was also a normal girl, and had grown up watching typical weekend TV programming, so she was well aware that the possibility for strange and alien creatures to exist was there.

The foul and terrifying things she'd seen were infinitely more disturbing than anything Hatte Saburo, Tsuburuya Eiji. or Ishimori Shotaro had thought up, however.

Her fellow policewomen had been cut up in front of her eyes. Her friend Kazusa had begged Yui to put her out of her misery, and Yui had missed. And then just as she was about to join Kazusa in death, a transport aircraft, like nothing she had seen before, had descended from on high, as soldiers in high tech armor emerged and efficiently killed the aliens with weapons out of a science fiction show.

And in the midst of them, their leader, a tall man with mixed American-Japanese features, had reached a hand towards her, and asked, "Do you want to stay a victim, or do you want to be a badass and make a difference?"

And now she was here, the newest member of the XCOM Program, in their Colorado base, being outfitted with her gear for the day's training exercise.

Surprisingly, her new "armor" was the hardest thing to accept.

"I can't wear this!" wailed Yui, and the other two women in Argos Team, Sniper Stella Bremmer and Assault Tarisa Manandal, took pity on her and walked over, deciding to be nice to the new girl.

This had nothing to do with how Yui was delicious. Like jelly. Delicious Jelly Yui, Jellyuilicious. Not at all.

"Something wrong?" asked Stella, a gentle, comforting smile on her face, and Yui gazed at her hopefully.

"This armor. It's, it's, it's too indecent! I'm a police officer! I can't wear something like this!"

"Ah, that's easy," scoffed Tarisa, running an eye over Yui's body, clad only in simple white bra and panties. Yep, she was so adorable. And damnit, had a larger bust than Tarisa. "You wear it like this. Stella, help me."

Yui squeaked in outrage and shock as Tarisa divested her of her undergarments, while Stella efficiently dressed her into the form-fitting suit. In a few short moments, Yui was dressed in a formfitting translucent blue catsuit, her arms crossed in front of her, her face scarlet, sputtering wordlessly.

"Yep. Standard combat bodyglove for new recruits. Don't worry, everyone starts out with it," said Tarisa cheerfully. "It's tear-resistant, and has superior fire resistance to nomex and normal fatigues, which is good because the BETA use plasma weapons - you'll want to protect against heat instead of bullets."

"It also looks quite good on you," chuckled Stella, running her hands all over Yui's body, adjusting the fit, patting her down, tugging on the belt.

"This isn't armor!" shrieked Yui. "Kore wa sekuhara desu!"

"Mmhmm, I think the fit's right," said Stella absently, not listening to her. "Tarisa, pass me her armor plating, please?"

"Here, Stella."

"Right, and there you go," murmured Stella in Yui's ear, as she attached the shoulder armor plates and the upper torso and back protection. Yui shivered - the feel of the so called armor wasn't barely different from being naked. Hell, she was practically naked! They could see her nipples! They could see her omanko-

"No, the torso protector means they can't," said Stella pleasantly, and Yui blushed even more as she realised she had been thinking out lout. The Swede finished strapping into her Ghost armor. "As for the rest, so long as you don't get wet, the suit won't cling to you any more and nothing more than a what a swimsuit will show will be seen."

"Besides, all rookies have to go through this," said Tarisa, already putting on her Titan armor. "Look on the bright side, newbie."

"There's a bright side?" asked Yui. Well, "asked" was kinda stretching it, what with her voice having gone one or two octaves up and staying there.

"Yes, Yuuya likes to wear the same bodyglove when we have new members," said Stella, winking at her. "He likes to show solidarity with the new kids on the block."

Yui's face became incandescent as she imagined Yuuya Bridges, her saviour and instant crush, wearing the same armor as her. The same revealing armor.

"Stella, her face is radiating in infrared," said Tarisa sourly, as she adjusted her helmet displays.

"Ladies, you're taking waaay too long to get ready," said Yuuya, poking his head in, a bandanna tied around his eyes. "Y'all done yet?"

"We're decent, you can look, Yuuya," said Stella. "Of course, even if we weren't, you're still welcome to look," she added, with a saucy smile.

"Thanks but no thanks, Stella," said Yuuya, smiling, as he undid the bandanna, taking stock of Yui. "So, Jelly. Ready to kick some ass?"

"J-jelly?"

"Yuuya has a bad habit of nicknaming people he likes," said Stella. "The cuter the nickname, the more he likes you. Tarisa is Chobi, I'm Venus, and now you're Jelly. Delicious Jelly. Sweet sweet Jellyui. Yuuya, aren't you being too forward?"

"... seeya at the killhouse gotta go don't be late!"

Stella sighed. "Americans. They can joke, but show even some interest in them and they get flustered and run away. Still, he's got a point. You are delicious."

Yui could have wept with frustration. She was surrounded by perverts who wanted to molest her.

Though... that bodyglove did flatter Captain Bridges' fine form....no! No! Bad Yui! Perverted thoughts are forbidden!
